I think that would be interesting as well, but with the attacking potential of all out fullbacks Cuad included, I still think that a 3-4-3 is best suited for this squad. It would give our team the height and physicality that Allegri wants and allow us to play with Dybala, Ronaldo, Costa, AS and Cancelo/Cuad all at the same time. He just needs to figure out the best partner for Pjanic and the RCB (Benatia or Rugani)

As long as we win, i dont give a fuck who scores and how many. Its thr beginning of the season, the team needs to gel, im happy that we won against Lazio who have a very good squad and we did it without Costa, Dybala and Cuads. Allegri sees what we can not and we have to trust him. Its actually quite encouraging that he took two completely different approaches in two different games. You always have to adapt and not over eatimate your team and underestimate your oponent. He is totally right that wr have to remain balanced throughout 90 minutes. We have all seen that many times, one minute we play like a WC team, the other wr cant take the ball out of our own half. Also, he needs to adress our players' decision making, tell them to be calm on thr ball, not force passes when they shouldnt.
As for Ronaldo, he needs time. Although i have always said that Messi is better than him, i respect Ronaldo much, much more than Messi because throughout his career CR7 has always pushed himself to do more, created challenges for himself and was never scared to go out of his comfort zone since Juve is his third move in his career while Messi sits confortably in his Barca shell. I wasnt ecpecting hin to score against Lazio, but i have a feeling that Parma will be the historic team against which Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first Seria A and Juventus goal.
So far, things are looking up for us.

I wish I had this data chart last year when I complained about us not creating enough chances. Napoli, Roma, Lazio and Inter all created more chances than us last season. Out of all the big teams in the top 5 leagues, only Manure created less chances than us.
I don't blame Allegri entirely for our poor chance creation,because the midfield is just not that good. The problem is his loyalty towards a nothing player like Khedira, who offers no creativity or grinta in midfield. He must be blind if he cannot see how much of a liability Khedira is against any good team that presses our midfield. Although this isn't entirely Khedira's fault, our linkup play isn't very good either. Our team will be much better when Can and Bentancur bench Khedira and Matuidi, because they both offer more grinta than Khedira, while offering more creativity than Matuidi.

Our lack of chance creation not entirely Max’s fault, the problem is the midfield. Matuidi has no technical ability and I’ve seen traffic cones move better than Khedira. While the rest of our team is on par with anyone else in Europe, our midfield is barely top 10. This is why Can and Bentancur need to be integrated ASAP.
I'd say Max just chooses to avoid our midfield knowing we don't have the CM quality to compete with other top teams in the middle of the park. whenever I've looked at our passing and heat maps in big games they look like a big U with a relative hole in the middle of the pitch, not sure that's going to change with Can/Bentacur, I expect them to add more bite defensively, but not necessarily more as attacking outlets
There's statistical evidence Khedira had a great season last year. If you want to take xG and all that BS and believe it to be true for teams, you have to do the same with Sami. Giovinco had 15 goals and 15 assists one year, such a great year right? I told you before and I'll tell you again - xG and specific stats are good only for individual players comparisons who play the same position or have similar roles - for example looking at what kind of chances strikers usually have, their conversion rate etc. You cannot fit an entire team into that. There's way too much space for error and variation from player to player within a team, let alone with other teams included.
When you realize football will never be able to fit into statistical parameters and judged by it like American sports you'll be better off. It's a game of instincts and as such you can throw stats out and just watch and enjoy the journey.

Also thats very misleading because it looks like we scored no goals b ut in reality we had more goals than every one of the other serie a teams. Having chances at the expense of chances against is not always good. Thats why teams like Hynckes Bayern and Pep Barca were so good because they kept the ball so far up the field and pressed you so well you couldnt get good chances
