I concur, but I don't see it happening. I can't blame Beppe alone, as he's not solely responsible. If the filthy Jew Bastard doesn't want to inject a bit of money to see the team that his gramps worked so hard to turn into a European powerhouse scale those heights again, then he should turn it over to someone who does.
Oh well. I see more of the status quo. Floating along just beneath the top tier of clubs. We'll have runs like the past 3 years where we slip into the top tier, but it's hard to remain there long-term with weaknesses like we have on the pitch.
Watch Klopp actually put up a fight against Barca/Real in the semifinal instead of bending over like Allegri did.
Words cannot describe just how awful we have been against Barcelona and Real Madrid this season. 6-0 on aggregate over 270 minutes. Roma put up a better fight at Camp Nou than we did. Sevilla and Valencia look more respectable against Barcelona and Real Madrid than we do.
You can't put this on the players alone. We have good enough players to make a close game. Allegri just failed horribly.

We did not play a "very good game" against Madrid, not even close.
Real played on the counterattack after their first goal, they let us have the ball. We created two chances from set pieces (Higuain, Chiellini), but we struggled to create anything meaningful from open play. Dybala managed to win a few free kicks, which also came to nothing.

No, we played very well and created quite a few nice chances but some were ruined by Dybala/Costa/Sandro before it even came to a shot. And then Higuain and Cuadrado had good chances in the end too to make 2-3.
If we play the same way in Madrid without idiotic errors by Chiellini or someone else we will have a chance to make it interesting.

Cuadrado's chance was the only good chance we had all game, and that was at the very end of the game when Madrid were already comfortable.
None of the other "chances" you listed were clear cut chances. They were half chances at best.
Allegri's entire attacking plan was "pass it to Dybala and hope he does something". Beyond that, he has absolutely nothing.

No it isn't. Our defence might have downgraded compared to last year, but our midfield has definitely upgraded. We bought two useful players (Matuidi, Bentancur) and sold deadweight (Rincon, Lemina). Our attack has upgraded too (Costa, Bernardeschi).
