I dont get why he does not let the wingers change sides more often. With Cuadrado out we have one player in our team that can consistently go past his marker. He is put on the right, which in fairness is probably his best position, but it also means that he cuts in to his left all the time, to an already packed middle.
In a game like yesterday we had nobody who could go behind the defense and stretch SPAL making it easy for them to pack the middle.
Especially when Mandzu came on it could have been nice to see Costa on the left, making crosses towards Mandzu on the back post.

In 1st place, through to CL quarters, in Coppa final. In the midst of 24 match unbeaten run in all competitions, 20 wins and 4 draws.

And people bashing Max and calling him an idiot and a clown because we drew a match before international break after a run of tough fixtures and fantastic results.

The team let their focus and concentration slip. Shit happens to every team a couple times a season.

4 months without a loss. Only 4 draws. Perhaps wait until we actually lose or get knocked out of something before crying like babies. :baus:

Unless Real bottle it, if we put in any similar performance to Tottenham I fear we could be embarrassed again

This team can only play one way against good opposition and that is backs to the wall bus parking

When you consider our total spend and the players we have recruited there is a big problem with our ability to play football and money spent

We should not be getting outplayed by teams like Tottenham we should at least be able to impose ourselves on a match

Allegri is too reactionary as a coach, his Juve team lacks ambition and skill

We see it too many times, we only start playing when we go behind or are forced into attacking

When we do build up a lead the first sign is to defend and keep dropping deeper, there is no bravery here to extend a lead and be ruthless

If an English team can score 7 goals against you they won't take their foot off the gas and hang on for the lead they will keep going at you to kill you off

Real and Barca are no different either

Here at Juve we must protect a lead and invite pressure on

As I have said before that is not sustainable to keep getting results that way as when you give the ball to opposition with some creativity and pace they will slice you open quite easily

In Serie A we have the best players by a mile so we don't seem to be punished for it but in Europe we will be punished for it, that I am 100% certain of and can guarantee one of the big teams will make us look like a relegation team

I wouldn't read too much into this result. We've been extremely consistent in games like this but any team can fuck up sometimes.

However, our main weakness is the same as before. We can't seem to pass the ball accurately when under pressure. There has been no improvement in that department. We struggle against any team that pressures us, even in this game for a few minutes when SPAL were pressing we couldn't play out of it. In fact, without Alves and Bonucci we are worse than last season.

Allegri has to take a lot of the blame for this. Our players (except Sturaro) have enough technique to be able to pass much better than that. Sitting deep and defending does not mean that you have to just give the ball away all the time. Allegri knows this very well and has mentioned it many times in his interviews, but he can't seem to do anything about it.

Yes as poor as our midfield is it's not an excuse why the majority of the team can not hold onto possession

A lot of the times against strong teams we rely on winning a foul or some form of set piece in our half and the other teams retreats back to relieve pressure

We can't transition from defence to attack fast enough and don't hold onto the ball very well

I don't see how anyone can say they are satisfied with the teams performances this season.

When you look at the bigger picture we are so far behind the better teams

Results may be good but we should be solely judged on how well we do in the CL

I don't want to talk about not winning the league as that should be a given for us bar a freak season like Napoli are having

Weren't you positive that we'd beat Real Madrid?

Not very if I remember correct

I think if they turn up and play close to their best we are probably going out

If we can get a good home result then we have a good chance but i'm not overly positive we will go through

I think they need to under perform and we must be clinical

The only good thing I can think about the Madrid game will be that Max's teams tend to perform best with their backs up against the wall

If we can get a good home result I can see us possibly snatching it in Madrid so for me if we don't have a good home result I think we will not go through

I said 4 months without a loss in all competitions. As in Serie A, Coppa, and yes, CL. Including knocking out the team that topped Real Madrid's group. All while dealing with half our attackers being injured at various points of the last 6 weeks and missing matches. What a clown you are. :lol2:

:agree:

Considering our "financial clout", our star player sales, and so on. The results he gets are absolutely brilliant. Extraordinary coach.
Max is beyond a shadow of a doubt top 3 managers in the world! Makes it happen consistently, hiccups along the way are to be expected, no team is perfect.

I think i'm pretty consistent with my posts

I don't see why you think that unless you can show me some posts contradicting myself

I thought Mandzukic was the problem but after seeing yesterday's result and highlights i'm not sure anymore what Allegr's attacking tactics are

Bayern just got dominated by RB Leipzig. Lost 2-1. Outshot 16 to 9. 6 on target to 2 on target. 3 weeks ago Hertha held them to a 0-0 draw at the Allianz.
@BayernFan

Are fans calling for Jupp's head? Calling him a clown and a coward? Saying "sack this idiot"?
