Yes we don't press and win the ball back high up the pitch, a slow midfield is quite problematic and limits us there and in other areas

I won't be surprised if we end up conceding 3-4 goals in a match against some of the stronger teams

Serie A and CL are completely different competitions and there is no comparison to be made with Europe especially when it comes to the bigger teams

Doing well in Serie A doesn't mean it's going to be the same for the CL

probably Pjanic missing is a blessing in disguise, he is our best CM player, but probably a well fit Marchi with Matuidi + 3rd CM could be more suitable for balance.

I think if we drew Man City it would reveal our current level, I don't think it would be a pretty game for us but they don't come much better than City so would be interesting to see how well we do against them

So for that reason I hope we avoid them at all costs as they are the team I fear the most

Forget Serie A, I mean we did go almost all the way in Europe 2x and beat teams like Barcelona, RM, City (in both games), etc... what changed?

We have played in 2 CL finals in 3 years, and in our bad year in between we beat City home and away in the group and then choked against Bayern.

The amount of nonsense you post is outrageous. City has done nothing to warrant status as a CL favourite. What top team have they beaten? Nice 3rd place finish in the league last year, and 4th place behind Leicester the year before.

Maybe they have improved leaps and bounds, but nothing from the last 3.5 years suggests they will expose or "true level". At least have some shred of evidence to back up such absurd claims.
