Lol no, they're still here because Allegri doesn't have the balls to play with younger players instead.

You see us winning a CL anytime soon with our current tactics and transfer policy?

I would say it's highly unlikely if everything remains as is with the management and tactics
Imagine we could spend as much as Mantschester Union, we'd already have won it 2 times in the last few years.

That won't change anytime soon

A final is a one off game there is no second chance

You need to go out there to win it not nick a 1-0 and hope to get lucky
Sometimes i wonder if people actually watched us play in those finals.

We lost the first final against Barca cause we were pushing too hard for the 2:1, getting punished on the counter.

And I wouldn't say we started cowardly against RM either, we went for the early goal and it looked open/good til after the 1:1 when players like Mandzu and Pjanic picked up injuries and couldn't be replaced properly (which strenghtens my point of that having more money -> keeping players would have eventually brought us over the line.)

But yeah. All just cause we went for the lucky 1:0.

Too blame it on Max and his tactics is downright laughable.

2015 was a good final I didn't think we did a lot wrong other than over extending at the end

2017 was a disgrace and took a far too cautious approach in the second half

Since 2015 our play has regressed so much, we have went backwards with the approach and team players imo

@Nedved96 @Vialli_92 Brilliant performance from City. 70% possession, 20 shots on goal, 123456 passes completed and most important of all a goal scored by intricate teamwork and not due to set pieces/ individual brilliance.

Last time I looked Shitty was leading the PL by 15 points or something like that. PSG, Napoli, Bayern and Barca are also leading their respective leagues. Could it be that it is possible to combine style and results.

Idk why you’re mentioning Napoli. But the difference between those teams and us is striker based. Look at their strikers and then look at Higuain.

And barcelona havent been playing with any 'style' the past 2 seasons

This season has been pretty much a Messi masterclass...woof some of his goals this season

It's only because those teams have rubbish challengers. Look at how many points these teams have dropped compared to Juve, it's almost the same.

Is it really due to him? We've only dropped 10 points all season. PSG and Bayern have also dropped 10 points. City have dropped 9 although Barca have only dropped 6.

Exactly. Our defense is not the problem, it’s the fact that our main striker has abysmal numbers.

1 goal every 2 games is abysmal for a striker now?
Yes. 10 goals in 22 games for a top team is substitute numbers. Let’s say he gets to 15 by the end of the season. That’s abysmal for a top striker, which is what he’s supposed to be.

Your math is a little off, bro. 14 goals in 31 appearances. 1 goal every 2.2 games. That's pretty bad for a 90 mil rated striker, paid as much as Higgy is. Especially when guys like Immobile, Icardi, Quagliarella have more goals in Serie A alone than Higgy has in all competitions.
