I try to give objective criticism. If I think that we should switch to a 433 because we have no midfield in a 4231, or if I say that we shouldn’t play Higuain and Mandzukic together because they are too static together, it’s not because I hate this club and I should support Barcelona instead. It’s because I want this team to improve and I’m giving my ideas.

But I guess some people don’t accept anything other than 100% positivity all the time. Any kind of criticism is seen as whining.

Im good with negativity but some times its so overwhelming its annoying, We have won 6 stright scudetti and are doing really well and you would think that we are fighting relegation and only Dybala can save us. Without Pjanic though, fluidity and spark is clearly missing, so 4231 with players like Dybala and Bernardeschi on is the best formation given that Matuidi is partnered by Bentancur or Marchisio.

I disagree. It was a mistake to revert back to 4231. Sure we didn't look too convincing with 433 but we still somewhat controlled the game. We switched to 4231 and they managed to shut us down and then we were the ones to run more.

If it was up to me I'd replace Bentancur with Marchisio and Mandzukic with Berna/DC. Anyway, 3 man midfield is necessary because we're not losing the battle in the middle, easier to control the game whether we're on the ball or have to defend. 4231 is too easy to pin us back or when on the ball - we commit too many players forward which leaves us exposed at the back.

That’s true, but I think we’ll come to cards against one of the European top teams this year. We’ll see, but it’s a strong intuition I have.

We certainly do. Us simpletons that are in lockstep (like sheep) with Marotta can certainly look back like a million gazillion times and say...its good to be a member of The Society.

What you fail to realize is, that by trying to mock me, you are constantly mocking yourself and even prove me right about you being a black and white thinking simpleton.

Reaching finals is all nice and dandy, and certainly an achievement, but without selling key players those lost finals could have been won. If the management keeps doing this again and again, believe it or not, then there is room for criticism.

We have great depth, true, but our starting 11 is weakened compared to last season, and even if Max performs another miracle, and we make it to another CL final - it will most likely again come to bite us in the ass that we sold Bonucci and Alves without replacing them (properly). Rinse and repeat.

You can't deny that the chopping and changing is more harmful in the long term though. I still miss our midfield of 2015. This current "rendition" is a pale imitation. Our attack is impressive, but the midfield and defense are a 7.5/8 at best.

Nothing stays the same forever. The best teams are able to adapt to change, build a long term business model. The team is always more than one or two players. Our defensive solidity is returning. People need to stop boo-hooing over bonucci already. Our attack is wicked compared to seasons past. Allegri is still trying to find a way to make it fire on all cylinders. We managed to make it to 2 CL finals in 3 years with the same model so its really hard to argue that it isn't working. When the Spanish giants finally return to reality when Messi & Ronaldo are gone things will normalize again. Going back to the first CL loss a couple seasons ago, our "key players" didn't get us the victory so there again its hard to argue that changing teams is the issue for 2 CL final defeats.

Camoranesi said in 2006 after Calcipoli that it would take 10 years for Juve to get back to the best. He was almost spot on.

I'm certain the midfield will be bolstered soon enough.

I personally don't doubt EuroMax one bit, season after season he proves his greatness. Just like B81 what disapoints me is when a young talent, or a talent plays here we often ask ourselves how long til he's sold. You never ask yourself that with players signed by other top squad, they get upgraded if sold, we "downgrade" almost everytime we sell.

Either way, we winning the treble this year, that's all i know.

alves is a truly unique player, i give you that, but honestly, do you really miss bonucci? i don't, not in the slightest.

also, our worst performing players in cardiff included both alves and bonucci, as well as dybala, khedira and sandro. there's no way to predict/tell who'll show up in a cl final and who'd you miss in case of a defeat.

We had 39% possession in the 2015 final, and 46% possession in the 2017 final.

Interesting, as people always talk about the midfield as the strongest part of our 2015 team and the weakest part of our 2017 team.
