A positive about some of these performances is that even if we've conceded pathetic goals right in the start, we actually have fought back many times from almost hopeless situations. If we somehow manage to not let the opponent score on their only shot on goal we'd be comfortably first. In previous seasons I've felt like going down 1 or 2 goals means the game is pretty much over (a rare occasion though, lol), but now scoring 3 goals in a game is almost the norm.

I see you completely accidentally forgot to include our goals tally from the league this season so here it is: 35 goals in 12 games (highest in the league).
I've already explained why this is misleading. Our opening 12 fixtures this season have been laughably easy. We've scored 5 goals in 4 games against proper opponents in the CL.

Do you just want to see alotta goooools?
No, I want to see a coherent attacking plan that does not almost solely rely on set pieces and Dybala. I want to see players making runs instead of standing there like chess pieces until they get the ball.

It cant go right always.

Max really need to let this team up their gear. Dybala, MDS, Alex Sandro, Matuidi and Costa are all out of form. I wonder why he doesnt switch to a 352/343

Main reason why he won't come. Otherwise he's easily the best option, but hopefully he stays here beyond the summer
Allegri is easiliy the best option for Bayern? WFT:lol:

I say he is exactly what Bayern DONT NEED. A typical Italian defensive minded coach without a possession based approach and without pressing structures is the opposite of what Bayern need.

Max doesn't know how to teach his team how to circulate the ball and pass with purpose. We are painful to watch against any decent side.

We are slow, predictable, and clueless when transitioning from defence to attack. We aimlessly pass the ball from side to side, and then usually just score from individual brilliance or a set piece.

This is a serious limitation of Allegri as a coach that needs to be addressed.
Thats what I m talking about. He would be destined to fail. Ancelotti MK2

He's a great coach, but not for Bayern and the style of football they wanna play.

His defensive tactics however are class. No need for suicidal buli high pressing.

Allegri defensive minded? The coach that fields 4 forwards in his set up week in week out and that doesnt mind deputizing Cuadrado as a RB when chasing result, making it 5 forwards/wingers out of 10 outfield players Gtfo

He’s way too good for the Bundesfodder anyway.
 Bundesloliga would be a step down in his career.

It's not about the line-up he fields, it's about the way we play.

Bayern had about 58% possession at the Bernabeu before Vidal got sent off. They were winning 1-2 and were relentlessly pressing Real in their own half and giving them no time on the ball.

If Max was coaching them, they'd have about 40% possession, and Real would be winning...
