I think this is Max's last season here too. Sorta reached his limit perhaps. Ancelotti anyone? S.Inzaghi would be interesting.
Higuain is the only transfer that I would be critical of from the management. He doesn't suit Allegri's style at all and was a waste of money imo.

Bonucci was forced out by the looks of it which was fine if he was poisonous for the locker room.

However with so many changes every season it's hard to keep the momentum going from the previous seasons

Allegri has definitely taken the team as far as he can and we could probably use someone with fresh ideas
Guy is finished. Go for Carlo please.

Who will come? who knows. Maybe Carletto, as he has the pedigree. Sarri? no way. Simone Inzaghi? lacks pedigree.

Thats it

You are fools if you think Carlo will put up with Beppe's shit for a second.

He is totally up for watching Beppe sell Dybala+Sandro, then browse through all european trashcans to end up with Draxler+Criscito as ''''replacements''''

Ridiculous how people doubt Allegri, the only way he can be topped is if someone actually wins the CL. He's been one match away from winning a treble in 2015 and in 2017. Allegri tends to mix and match and that's because he has too many players leave and come each season and has to start from scratch. We'll still win this league, no doubt about it.

Total Football :howler:

...and zero titoli.
Total football has won every Champions League since 2013. Our pessimistic style of play has been humiliated in two CL finals.

If you give Sarri this group of players, he'll win you the CL. No doubt whatsoever.

This is the most talented crop of Juventus players I've ever seen. We have so many players with sublime technical abilities, and they're being wasted at the moment.

You overrate this Juventus team.
Agreed, we're a very good team, but far from the best Juve squad. 2006's team was a complete monster. Our midfield feels rather weak to be honest and we've lost resilient defence. The problem is that we keep stop-starting each year. We had arguably the best midfield in Europe back in 2015 before we dismantled it then the best defence in 2017 before we dismantled it too. We need to stop selling our best players and destroying our strongest positions. Right now we're a "good team," but the rest of Europe has caught up and we have no position which we can safely say that we're the best at now.

Fucking really? Come on Man! When did you start watching Juventus? The Capello teams (now there's a manage who had an awesome squad and failed to deliver in Europe), and Lippi 96-99, and then again in his 2nd stint would totally own this current Juventus. They had more heart, more technical skills, and overall more talent.

I refuse to blame Allegri for our struggles, because the management keep selling and buying players. Too much change causes instability, and that's never a good thing. New players need time to gel, and by the time that happens, it might be too late.

We had the same issues back in the 2015-2016 season, when we kicked off our campaign with a home loss to Udinese. Back then, we bounced back, and Napoli gradually faded into obscurity, and we managed to retain our title. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening this time around, as Napoli look more solid and have found some consistency, consistency that stems from having the same group of players who are familiar with each others game, thus giving them the foundation and belief necessary to continue winning.

I care about what we achieved, but I care more about how we achieved and how we played.

The heartbreak at the finals is inevitable, because we dont spend the cash to buy difference makers players like Messi and Cronaldo, who are winning the CL with individual magic everytime they reach the final. Cronaldo has scored so many goals, but he values the most the ones against us in the final, because these matter the most.
This season we had a chance to improve by adding a couple of difference makers to our strong core, but once again, we opted for quantity over quality. Forget the CL, the point is that we have weakened our selves in serie A too!
The 4-2-3-1 is obviously not working, will Allegri realise that before its too late?

I reckon Max has overachieved with the squads at his disposal. Isn't it telling that 4 out of our 6 attackers can't get into the starting XI of their national teams. The defensive block of Italy has been shown up in the qualifiers and multiple times in the tournaments. Our only midfielder that is world class is Pjanic. Max has somehow got more out than the sum of the parts.

What annoys me is that Lazio's goals both came from their play and not from possession. Usually in previous seasons when we dropped points we were hit on the counter by a very tight team. That wasn't the case even if Lazio were tight and relied on counters but not when they found the net.
