Serie A isn't played like La Liga, no point in comparing the two. We save energy for other games when we think the game is over, I don't much like it but the players clearly do it.

Besides, we don't get respect for beating Crotone 6-0, you get that by beating other big teams in the CL.

Noticed on that ESPN link that the pundits there (Marcotti, Flipflop, Burley) all had us to win against Barcelona, with Flipflop even saying that we were the best side left in the competition at managing a game. So we seem to be getting more respect from so-called experts. It's not like most armchair fans know all that much about football anyway, the world is full of idiots living in their own little bubbles.

Yeah it's interesting how even pundits think it is. We are getting to the position we were once in and a club like Juve should be in. We need to confirm that against Barca

I think we should take advantage of Dani's superb form and Kojo's coming back to form.

Smash Barca with this

Gigi
Litch-Rugani-Chiello-Kojo
Dani Alves-Pjanic-Cheesio
Cuads-Dybala-Sandro

Higuain been useless.

You really think Biguain will get dropped?
I'd be surprised, but dude needs to give us goals or he can take a seat. Dybala's growth is being slowed down because of him, he's taking up his space, Paulo prefers playing centrally, and if Higgy can't score he should make way for someone who can.

Exactly why trashing minnows is necessary for this club

To build and maintain aggression, intimidation and strike fear into the opponent minds

Because you cannot just suddenly turned into an intimidating team once or twice in a month while living the rest as a mr nice guy team..
Good article by an excellent journalist. I remember watching a BBC deadline day special with 5 pundits and they just ignored her opinion for the whole evening. Whenever she got the opportunity to speak she had more knowledge than the other 4 put together.

She is correct, we need to be far more aggressive, Vidal in the first half of the 2015 was embarrassing. The occasion clearly got to him and he couldn't pass or tackle.

We were the same again in the first half v Bayern last year where we showed far too much respect and sit on the edge of our box without putting Bayern under any pressure. My only hope is that Max learned from that game and we approach it like we did in the second half of Bayern and the first 60 mins of the second leg.
