He's playing Sturaro to bring him up to fitness, but I think this is a big season for the player because he doesn't look Juve quality. I don't think being the footballing equivalent of a hockey goon is going to keep him around for long at Juve. Shame, because he was billed as something different.

Seems like he found the position for Pjanic but one thing is for sure as we saw in the second half when Pjanic is playing well our attack looks really really different and we create chances like crazy. Its not healthy for a team to depend so much on one player but he showed why he is brought here. And call me crazy (I know someone will quote me and write just crazy ) but Sturaro actually helped him with his energy and running around Pjanic he was our muscle in midfield today plus he was running a lot after Hernanes too.

he's the back up to the back up. i'm okay with him staying as that role

plus every big team has a hockey goon

diego costa
vidal
totti
suarez
pepe

athough those are all better quality players...

Weird subs today and he should do somthing about the mistakes we make during matches. He should also find a role for Pjanic and stick to it.

There is just no intelligence in our players. I see that every game. We lack football inteligence. You can see it in thr passes and especially in the off the ball movement. We have the worst off the ball movement from any of thr top flight teams (that i follow). Too much "discipline" in our game, so our players are very easily marked and pressed.

There's a clear trade off with this new formation. After playing three CBs for so long it's strange to see Juve conceding counter-attacks, often with a numerical disadvantage. For this system to survive it needs a more competent and more solid midfield three than was fielded today. Who, at the start of the summer, would have thought Allegri would be fielding Sturaro - Hernanes - Cuadrado? You can hardly blame him for the lack of quality.

Allegri is right. The boys needs to keep grinding out wins until the break. This team hasn't had any time to settle with it's best 11. Hopefully Marotta acquires a midfielder in January who's actually worthy of starting and everyone can stay healthy. Then this side might eventually reach it's potential.

We need more then “one guy”, to make this team do that leap of quality.

We need like 2 players in the line of verrati etc, to couple marchisio.
