With Marchisio coming back, Pjanic should be a bit better. To make it even better, I think we should play Lemina as B2B more. Kherdia can't play 3 matches in a row anyway and Lemina would make up for Pjanic's physical and overall defensive weakness. He'd add more dynamism and toughness to the midfield as well.

The other part is linked to the system, I'm afraid. Pjanic needs runners who attack open spaces and move a lot. Otherwise all he'll do is some back passes.

Allegri surely has a headache when it comes to Pjanic and he has to readjust the system. We're not getting the most out of Higuain either so there's a lot of things to improve despite the fact we're winning most of our matches.

I have faith in Sturaro, he has that grit and muscles that we lack in midfield. I think he can improve and has potential to improve. For example the last time when he entered he closed spaces really really well and was bullying ppl and as always he is great in defense, classic DM.

Sturaro is such a 90-th player, bullying is great, but he is not that good at everything else.

He is extremely limited. I like Kopanjas 90ties kind of player vommene. In todays game its not enough to be great in defense. A DM also has to have an ok passing range and be able to keep posestion under pressure. Sturaro is horrible at both. Also he always playes as a btb mid, and in that role he should be able to contribute offensively, otherwise he is useless.

Pep and Enrique at least won something and generally their teams did well but Liverpool finished 9th maybe they rate the Europa League final appearance high but even then it doesn't make sense with the Emery omission. That award seems very Premier League biased.
