Remember Osman. When counting Higuain's two part payment, we had a nice net profit this mercato, and cover a good part of the next aswel.

We will solve this issue next season if Lemina doesnt step up and Marchisio doesnt return as intended
I don't care about any money.

And my concern is for this season, will think of next when it comes to it. But we already had kind of transition season last season, we aren't in a position to hoping to solve things next season, and the club doesn't see it so considering CL title is all they talked up for months.

Which makes it even more silly to ignored our midfield options completely as they have this summer (short sighted as fuck). It's insane they think this midfield can put a dent on anyone major in CL.

Who the heck cares what we will do in the summer mercato for next season. We should be contending for CL this year.

We should have brought in one more CM. Someone better than Asamoah, Hernanes, Sturaro. Simple as that. Our rotation options in midfield are poor. It'd be nice to have better cover.

Hernanes dribbeling out of trouble when pressed coupled with Pjanic in a higher mezzala position to play it off to with space around him, would have worked quite well
Hernanes is also solid defensively, not as a ball winner or tackler but in protecting the space around him. would like Allegri to try him out with Pjanic and Sami next game

If we manage to keep all the midfield protagonists fit we can.

Allegri knows that Marotta didnt offer him the holding bulldozer he need (as we saw today) and we are kinda banking on Lemina to step up (the kid is doing great imo, but not there yet), and Marchisio to return as if nothing happened.
So its pretty thin behind Claudio.

I'm expecting Allegri to keep rotating to make sure we dont lose anyone and somewhat remain in the race domestically. Go guns out in the CL after knockouts start.

If Marchisio comes and remains his general self, and Lemina keeps improving, we got every right to boast about our CL chances.

Since we have no idea if that will happen. Our management shouldnt have.

Khedira Marchisio Pjanic looks like a decent midfield, three intelligent players. All other midfield options suck really. The midfield looks bad when one of them is out, as we've seen.
Even all three fit will not guarantee a great midfield, no idea how they'll complement each other Not sure I can see them bossing a midfield either. Pjanic has no physicality (and
maybe no character). Khedira only when he put his body in the opponents box, and Marchisio is useful as a player in a positional sense.
All three know how to disappear from games..

Then there's Sturaro, Hernanes, Asamoah and Lemina. We should really have only one of those in the team as a sub.

Pjanic-Lemina-Khedira looked quite good. We just lack midfield depth. Failing to finish the Witsel purchase looks like a big mistake right now. When Marchisio returns, Lemina goes back to being a rotation option, and he is an excellent one at that. The problem is behind that we have Sturaro, Asamoah, Hernanes. Unless Asamoah is just showing rust from all that time off, or Sturaro finally starts to improve and become less one-dimensional... we basically only have 4 midfielders worth talking about which is a problem.
That's why he needs to drop one midfielder and change formation. No matter if it's Asa, Lemina, Sturaro or Hernanes, it will always be the weakest point in our line-up. We only have Pjanic - Khedira now, and even this pair looks to slow to dominate.

I'm not worried, but we even have build in some safety in case. Was pointing that out.

but again, i'm not worried next year

We will top the group and be top 3 before the knockouts start.

forgot about Super Stu competely, should get some playing time soon. next game is midweek home game, perfect opportunity
I hope Pjanic is sublime and disco stu takes the chance to contest Asamoah's playing rights.

But first of all, that we win the game

maybe he preferred to be a starter at shinter
He simply wanted merda. From the first moment. There was no real chance of signing him.
I find it hard to believe that any player would pick Inter over us, especially last season.

If that's his choice fair enough but I'd be disappointed if we didn't attempt to get him. Seems like a typical Beppe signing.

Exactly and because he only wanted Inter that's why this usual Beppe transfer didn't occurred.

Cant help but to be bitter bout this. Of course we still got january.

But with 90m for Higuain, Dybala and Sandro 2nd season, likely last WC-season from BBC and Alves, a lot of quality players "lost" in Premiership clubs without CL-football, new coach in Bayern and Zidane at Real. This season could be our best bet for CL-glory in years.

One thing Allegri mentioned after the game, that some defeats once in a while are healthy for a team to regain focus and hunger. I totally agree with him on that one. And we should look for the team to peak after Christmas, not now.

Even though he's made some weird choices, I expect him to get us back on track these upcoming games. A world class manager in my eyes, he' knows what needs to be done.

Well, i want to blame Alegri and our cack midfield (and i wont be wrong) but when i think that Barca lost to fucking Alaves at Camp Nou, this loss doesnt seem that scary at all.....Its just that our ego is very much hurt now, cause it really hurts to loose to inter....
