From Italian coaches, Allegri is the one who seems more humble and open to different choices. Guys like Conte are absolutely hopeless. But Allegri can actually evolve. Let's see.

Sarri crashed out of Europe last year. Spalletti just crashed out of CL with Roma. I could understand EDF I would hire him after the Allegri era but the Allegri era still has at least a couple years. It's one CL match. It was a disgrace but it was one match and I believe we will get over it.

I am not saying we should fire Allegri at all. He will get hes head out of hes ass, just like he did last year were he made some bizarre choices in the beginning of the season to. Just responding to the post saying we should look for a foreign coach, if we want to play more offensive football.

And especially Sarri would do an amazing job here. He totally transformed that shitty Benitez Napoli team, to being a well functioning unit playing beautifull football.

This answer is easy. Because: We had nothing to lose after that horrid home game and in the final minutes of the first game he realized he didnt have to be so afraid of bayern and could actually hurt them. Now, why he didnt set up the team that way from minute one and instead he ordered everyone to contain bayern at home?. Because he was afraid and nervous.

"We didnt got put played, we didnt lose, first game etc". yeah we got a point, yay.
Im not satisfied with our attitude and approach in a home game we could have offered more. Simple.

It was awesome because we believed we could do it, and the players were playing were well aware that the worst was already behind them.

But heres the thing: If we want to turn into a big team...we need to believe we can win from the beggining of the tie...when EVERYTHING is at stake and everyone is crapping their pants because of the nerves. THEREs when we fail and turtle up thinking we cant win....just to let it all go once we have 2 or 3 goals in our nets and all the nerviousness and pressure is relieved.

Its like if the guys think "Ok, now that we already crapped ourselves and i feel better now after those goals went in... i now can try to play without feeling any fear because it cant get worse right?".

This is what i hate.

Allegri set up the team just fine in the first Bayern game. He even had it set up more offensively with Dybala, Marchisio, Khedira to start the game... Cuadrado also started. You know who was subbed on in that game? Hernanes for Marchisio, Sturaro for Khedira, Morata for Dybala. Hardly balls-out, offensive subs. And those defensive players you all malign, Sturaro and Hernanes helped turn the game right around. Sturaro even scored the tying goal. We didn't even change formation we played our hybrid 3-5-2 to 4-3-3 in attack all match. The players started tentatively and Bayern started ferociously leading to their controlling the match for 60 minutes and when they started to tire we turned it right around in the last 30, and could easily have won 3-2.

The fact you think Allegri was "nervous and scared" and that led him to have poor tactics shows just how absurd your thought process is right now. Take a break, compose yourself, and gain perspective. You need it right now.

Regarding EDF, remember we hired Lippi when his CV was only Napoli who was way past Maradona era. Top tier teams like Barca, RM and Bayern don't mind foreign coaches as long as the team is winning. I don't buy 'we are traditional Italian team so we have to stick with Italian coaches'. Top coaches aren't usually available but if opportunities show up, Agnelli and co wouldn't say no.

Youth nurturing? Of course, because he is Sass coach. i somewhat doubt he'd play Lirola if he could play a player like Dani Alves. He has to work with the players available, just like Max.

Pjaca looks promising, but i wouldn't already play him as a starter, he's done nothing yet.
Even more ridiculous to change formation just to fit him in, not to mention we lack back up wingers
To make the 433 our main formation. We will see it every now and then (451 style) in the CL, just like the 4312.

The 352 with the right players (A.Sandro, D.Alves and Pjanic) on the pitch, is still the best formation and allows us to play our best 11. It has it all, counter attacks through the wings set up by Pjanic + BBC steel at the back.

Sevilla won't happen again and it's unfair to bash the 352 (and god knows i used to hate the 352) Just because of that one game.

The 352 with Alex Sandro and Dani Alves/Cuadrado on the wings can't be compared to the ugly ass 532 we used to see under Conte, because Allegri doesn't play it as static as antonio did, but mostly because Asa and Licht did offer nothig going forward.

But that's just my opinion.

And btw. It isn't true we never perform in the CL. it became a lot better under Allegri, let's not forget that just because of one draw against Sevilla.

haha agree but I think the general overreacting has some points: 1) This same team sent us against BM last year 2) Our expectation are bigger this year in this competition 3) We really played bad according to almost every sport newspaper in the world 4) Max conference post game

At least last year, the early season meltdown could be somewhat rationalized when we had like 12 points from the first 10 matches, and dropped points against powerhouses like Frosinone, Udinese, Chievo, Sassuolo...
