It's not our DNA it's the Italian DNA.

For example, Roma don't do it and they get thrashed 7-0 multiple times.

All the big Italian teams achieved their succes through solid defence first. That is exactly the main strength of this Juve too, and we hit our peak last year when we got to the Final.

Anybody who thinks the game was lost tonight is fooling themselves. We set this tie up in Turin, and that's where we deserve the blame. Tonight, we are heroes.
Rarely I disagree with you, but we're not heroes tonight. If the game lasted 45 mins we would be, but after that second half and the extra time...

I can't understand your point of view. Why look in the past? Had this been the first game you'd be saying basically the same thing.

Regardless we did put a great amount of effort before the first goal and a tad bit after it.

Afterward it was a very disappointing display tho.

I don't think the subs had anything to do with it, but the Tacticts, WOW, why on earth he decided that we should park the buss with 20 min left of on the clock, against the freakin second best team in the world right now, especially when we just proved AND realized "holy $#@!, we're actually awesome without luck" will forever be a mistery to me. We should've kept on pushing up until a the first Bayern goal, if there even would have been a goal. With maintaining that tactic, the subs would've worked.
Finally someone gets it! If we kept driving the bus instead of parking it we win! There is no doubt. We parked the bus and both times in both games while parking said bus we concede. Coincidence NO.

Whichever way you may choose to look at it, the better team over two legs won. My personal belief is, we couldn't do any more than we did tonight, but we could've gotten more out of our game in Turin. You keep forgetting we are talking about the second best team in Europe here. Did you really expect it to go this way? Be honest, did you think we would come a minute within winning it? That's because even you acknowledge what we were up against. We didn't sit deep coz Allegri asked us to. We sat deep because we did what came to us naturally in that situation, and didn't have the physical and mental strength of a team that's a level above us. Why is that so hard to accept for some of us? There's no shame in what happened tonight.

If anything you should applaud Allegri for doing what very few Italian coaches before him would do for a game like this, in this situation. We came out guns blazing when nine out of ten coaches before him would come to sit deep for 70 minutes and wait for one single counter. We took the game to Bayern in thei backyard, ran out of gas a little bit and then didn't have enough bench strength to keep it going, that's what happened from the way I saw it. And there's not much wrong with that.

We always sit back, even against provincial sides. That really fucked us in ass as we shat ourselves.

Plus we lacked quality subs to keep the momentum/intensity.

That is very questionable.

Anyway, people are going completely mental. We were 2min away from going through and we fucked it up. It happens sometimes in football, Bayern were very lucky. Everything else is secondary to that.

Yeah, I agree with you bro. They were very lucky, even if technically speaking they have a better team than us. Especially since we were without Marchisio, Chiello and Dybala.

But the collapse in the extra time was horrendous from us.

how the fuck are we a 2nd-tier club?

we pretty much ALWAYS look good against top teams. but only because we always "punch above our weight" i guess :boh:

...others might say we do so because juve is a top team too. :boh:

i say if we are at 100% we can beat everyone, simply because we are that good.

Allegri killed the momentum, you could see him waving the players back, not to push forward anymore.
If anything can make it feel a little bit better just a little, it's Allegri admitting he's bus tactics were wrong, and we in the future should go for KO, ALWAYS KO!

Bayern were not better than us over 210 mins of football? We played about 30 mins ffs at home.

I didn't see a collapse. Even though we were more tired we did well in the first 15mins. If there was collapse, it was after their 3rd goal and then after the 4th we created 3 more chances.

 We fucked up in Turin, we fucked up in the group stage against Borussia and Sevilla when we should have topped that group and never been in this position in the first place. Tonight we managed an impressive draw away to fucking Bayern.

I don't get the people expecting us to have a flawless 90 minutes in what is probably (maybe second to Barcelona) the toughest away fixture in Europe. We played with amazing intensity in the first 60 of the game, you can't just keep that up for the whole game.

Of course we can beat anyone, but that's not to say we don't have 2-3 teams ahead of us at the moment.

I'd say it was very close.

Sure, Bayern controlled the ball more in both matches but we were bloody brilliant in coming back in the first game and going 2-0 up tonight.

Overall, it's probably the combination of their technical superiority, wider bench and a bit of luck but that's also our fault as fortune favors the brave and ze Germans never, ever give up. Not even when there's 10 seconds left, let alone 2 or 3 minutes.

We probably have a different definition of better. For me the better team is the one that creates more chances over the 210 mins and particularly over the 90 mins, not that team that completes more passes. We had many more clear chances than they did.

It's because we were going through before Müller scored at 90th minute.
