In the last 30 minutes we looked like shit because of his subs. Khedira off for Sturaro and Morata for Mandzukic were extremely poor decisions from him. We lost attacking edge and composure on the ball.
We were under huge pressure. Seriously, I was surprised we nearly didn't give away any big chances. It was only fucking three minutes and our defenders decided to act like noobs.

Bayern can press like mad, Barca can, Atletico can.

Us on the other hand LOL

And so much for the best defense in the world, overrated fucks who can't jump if their lives depended on it.

And how the fuck did they manage to leave Lewa and Muller all alone is beyond me.

We would have been under far less pressure with Morata still on. It was bad. Real bad. But the man has gotten so much right in the past.

He managed to play a formation for the first time this season that went 0-2 at bayern untill subs had to be made with a nonexistant bench.

Then he made a mistake with manbro instead of zaza.

Still, 4 starters out and 0-2 in bayern untill subs

still, i think he is one of the best. people need to remember how we started this season with self destructed team. this kind of matches is always tricky. you can be unlucky with your tactics. this is football. but speaking about consistency. man this guy is really that good. imagine us winning without marchisio chiellini dybala. it would have been legendary result. i say yes he did mistakes specially first match. but i like this guy and he can outsmart any coach in the world.

Please. If he had subbed in Zaza instead, people here would bitch about that. If people are going to blame Allegri, it should be because of the groupstages and the first half against Bayern in Torino.

It may not be the way it panned out, but his intention of the sub was to keep another player chasing the ball and keep up the press. I would've personally preferred Zaza for this, but Allegri probably went with Mandzus experience. That apart, for all we know, he subbed Morata for fear of his getting a red chasing down those balls and getting into a couple of altercations. In hindsight, questionable sub, but I'm not getting why people are blaming him for the Khedira sub. Clear as day the guy was finished.

We don't know that. We would have been under heavy pressure no matter what. But we still defended well.
Thats not true man.

We had Morata playing separated from the team, wich caused great problems for bayern. If they pushed high, he would win the race for the ball and he's able to controll it and score. So they stayed deeper, and he'd still controll and lay off to supporting players.

We needed to do this, in order to keep their press away.

When morata went off, we should have fielded a substitute who did exactly the same. Instead, mandzukic came on, all danger for the counter over the defence was gone, so neuer played sweeper and the defence moved 30 meters forward and we got effectively in the press

khedira's ball retention going out for a weak sturaro, and a magnificent cuadrado going out for a bleak pereyra obviously didnt help, but we had no choise

Allegri was at fault more so for the falling into a defensive mindset than that of the subs. Although zaza would have had more pace than Mandzo. The reason they scored against us in both legs was the defensive sets. If we would have kept the pressure we would have won

Oh i'm not blaming allegri. I'm doing the opposite. calling his single mistake, cause he got everything else spot on

Lets see what team can lose 4 key players and go 0-2 at bayern. Not even barcelona.

Say what you will, I would t blame Allegri tonight, and just the fact that he's got half you people so gutted for 'losing like this' without 3 game changing starters is an achievement in itself. He pulled that formation out of his ass overnight, and was two minutes away from eliminating one of the top two clubs in Europe. Some respect for that. Please.

Bollocks. Bayern were going to press no matter what, simply because they had to.

the only thing i blame him for. it was clear manbro wasnt at 100%, how couldn't he see that in practice today

Exactly, I needn't add more on that. We saw a great display against the clear favourites. We can and should learn from this.
