Chelsea prepare Allegri offer?
By Football Italia staff

Reports in Britain claim Chelsea will offer Juventus Coach Max Allegri a €10m per year contract to take over this summer.

The tactician took the Bianconeri to the brink of the treble last season, and has overseen a club-record 13 wins in a row this season.

General manager Giuseppe Marotta has declared that Allegri is going nowhere, but that hasn’t stopped speculation.

British newspaper the Sun claims that the Blues are ready offer Allegri a €39m [£30m] four-year deal to move to Stamford Bridge.

However, Allegri still has an 18-month contract with the Old Lady, and has joked that he’ll only leave if the club fires him.

That is ofcourse net salary(in both cases) if the report is true which i doubt.

Allegri is a top manager in the market right now so ofcourse teams would be ready to offer big bucks.I mean why would he go there just to accept a similar salary ? Just a common sense thing.

Pogba 2015/16 > Marchisio 2012/13
Marchisio 2015/16 = Pirlo 2012/13
Khedira 2015/16 < Vidal 2012/13

Way better ? I disagree.

Pirlo,Vidal,Marchisio,Pogba,Padoin,Marrone.(Considering Asamoah as a WB) is way better than Marchisio,Pogba,Khedira,Asamoah,Sturaro,Lemina,Hernanes,Pereyra ? Man you guys love to overrate the past sometimes..

Pirlo in 2012/2013 can not defend as good as marchisio now.
I think, it's better to consider that first before judge who is better.
As players there is no comparison as they have different charesteristics. Pirlo however was the main culprit why we are in this position as a team. He was as decisive as any player in the world during that season you just can't pick Marchisio over him.

But he could attack a lot better than marchisio can now and our defense was doing very well that season.
Because of Pirlo, the other two cm's had to limit their offensive freedom.

With Marchisio, it actually empowers them to do more.

So while Pirlo was a bit better then Marchisio, tho not THAT much, the other two cm's increased freedom compensate that quite a bit.

So i'd say that offensively, its at least as good, but defensively, its MUCH better

The real key thing, is Vidals aggressive pressing. That, we lost. So here is to Lemina breaking trough @Osman

If you recall, when we used the 433 initially with Pirlo you saw some amazing attacking runs into the box with Marchisio & Pogba scoring some brilliant goals. All that changed IMO with the 352.

I love Marchisio, but the Pirlo in the first Conte season and the second was just great. The team was set up to succeed with him pulling the strings and he pulled the strings brilliantly. Marchisio is extremely important for us now, but he still doesn't have (or need to have tbh) the kind of influence Pirlo had on games during those seasons.

People are letting Pirlo's last season with us cloud their judgement. Pirlo was immense for us getting where we are now I'd go as far as saying that he was the most important single piece in that puzzle actually.

I absolutely love Marchisio and wouldn't pick anyone in the world in his place but current Marchisio would not start over the Pirlo we had for apart from the last season.

It's a little unfair to compare Pirlo with Marchisio. Conte basically built a team around Pirlo, hey was a corner stone, focal point and even main attacking treat. And Pirlo is a genius regista, he is one of a kind. On the other hand Andrea was too important, if opposite team shuts him down, we were in trouble. Conte is not to blame about it I think, when you have this kind of asset, unique asset, you try to utilize him as much as possible.
And from this point of view it's really strange Conte left the team so ugly. Because in Pogba you have another unique asset and he had Tevez who was one-man-attack.

Impressed by how well he handled the hardship this season.

Winning the league this year and secure a good run in CL, and I'll put Dai Dai Dai into the category of one of the best of his generation in Italy and therefore Europe, since the italian "coaching school" is still [among] the best.

From the FI blog on Caceres:

In the short term it adds to a growing absentee list. Juventus travel to Frosinone on Sunday hit by injury and suspension. Caceres will sit out alongside Sami Khedira, Kwadwo Asamoah, Mario Mandzukic and the suspended Simone Zaza. That’s in addition to the fitness clouds hovering above Chiellini, Roberto Pereyra, Mario Lemina, Stefano Sturaro and Patrice Evra.

It’s not ideal for the boss approaching a vital period of the season, with Napoli and Bayern Munich just around the corner. Those two matches will be pivotal for Juventus.
These next few weeks are going to be tricky for the team. Thankfully its Frosinone and not Napoli this week but if we can manage to continue our run with the injuries/suspensions it would be a miracle.

We have better opponents this season (Napoli) which seem on par with if not better than Garcia's first season at Roma, but last season Serie A had no one. Also 2011 Conte had allegri's milan to go against who were also quite good. So no Serie A was not much weaker as far as competing for 1st spot goes.
Umm... this season serie A really balanced. Week in week out changing leader (for most of 1 half of season anyway), and team like torino, sampdoria, sass, and empoli adds more intrique for the viewers.
When conte take over milan still one of favourite, but for next 2 season its pretty clear we had no challanger imo.
Napoli, Inter :inter:, fiorentina, milan, lazio, and some team i alrdy said before. Today serie a are more fun to watch.

:tup:God knows i love claudio, but anyone belittle pirlo contributions must been blind or smth. Pirlo usually decisive, not only as playmaker, he also can create goal from fk when its deadlock situation, and we knows he done that several times.
