The issue is even if we fire him were faced with the same problem:
A squad made up of players without creativity. No top class goal scorers. No real width in the squad. Disjointed mix of player positions: 3gks, 3lbs, 2rbs, 4cbs, 8cms, 1rm, 4cfs
Any manager that takes over will be unable to fit their best players in a lineup that works. Last year it was so clear who our starting 11 should be. Now?
Firstly, you need a reminder. 4 losses, 3 draws, 3 wins. 90% of the opponents with ALL WORSE SQUAD BY A HUGE MARGIN.
Secondly. That's the job for a competent quality coach. Yo build a foundation and solid organisation from a core of quite clearly set of quality players. A set game plan they can follow yo be as affective as possible.
Allegri shows NON of that. He cannot instill his ideas, philosophy or purpose on this team, can't motivate them. Thats a huge problem. If you change everything from scratch and rely on individuality to carry you as someone who clearly states he believes you don't need to focus on tactics too much, then you aren't good enough to guide this club.
Make no mistake, we failed on Mercato in getting the kind of decisive improvement or necessary replacements we needed, but that has nothing to do with how badly we are doing. It's all on the coach. We do have quality players to do much better, they just need to be used properly and be instilled with a common focus and goal. Play in a consistent way to function together as a unit, and not just give the ball to the better players and let's see what happens.
Look at Napoli, they have bit weak defence and lack DM /regista to hold things together, but they still look utterly fantastic together because they have a proper coach who pretty much has his DNA printed on them and motivates them in clear way.
