As @Azzurri7 wrote he can be very unpredictable. Hell, I am really uncertain before any game what players and tactics he will deploy. Especially in Europe. He leaves the opponents guessing until the very last minute, the only thing they can expect is that if we are on away turf against bigger teams we will like sit back more. But if we play with three or four at the back is pretty much up to question. Now with Cuadrado even the dynamics of our diamond four has changed dramatically. We can play very differently depending on what players we play. I really like that he is not too stuck up on how he wants to play and is able to adapt according to what role the players are best suited for. I think it is pretty obvious that the fundamentals are there with a back four, two strikers, and a diamond midfield. Rarely have we seen him play e.g. 4-3-3 but I think if he had players suited for it even that would be something he would deploy depending on players and opponents.
Unless we finish below top 3 or 4 (not sure) Max deserves to stay for the next season too. He came in late last year and did something unexpected and incredible. This year, and out of his hands, everything has changed. The core of the team for many years has been dismantled. If this is a season where we don't win, so be it although I strongly think we can and should be aiming for the title (obviously). Nevertheless, I would be forgiving if we don't.
Against City also showed that the fundamentals are in place, to my surprise we defended really well. Now it is time to develop possession so we can get some spark upfront in games where we are favorites. At away turf and top teams that isn't something we particularly need as we can rely on counters and opponent mistakes but at home turf and lesser teams we need to have our own ideas and create mistakes. I doubt we are there yet, but we'll get there in time.

Like beating Chelsea 3-0 at home, and Celtic 3-0 away, and Shaktar 1-0 away. Yep. He never won games in Europe at all. C'mon man. We can praise Allegri without bashing Conte. What exactly is the point in even bringing up Conte in this context?
And that same team except Morata... well, Morata scored 5 CL knockout goals, and Evra was a beast for us as a LB. So... a different team, an improved squad. But you're taking 1 of 2 seasons in Europe from Conte, in which we had some terrible luck, and Tevez couldn't finish to save his life, and saying that this was Conte's standard, and his QF season wasn't. That's silly and not at all knowable.
So again, drop it. Conte was a brilliant coach. As is Allegri... I don't get the comparison thing and why it has to happen.

People are crazy. I love having multiple players on the pitch that can interchange position smoothly like that. Imagine a front 3 of Cuadrado-Dybala-Morata... All 3 of them can actually play any of those positions.

People are crazy. I love having multiple players on the pitch that can interchange position smoothly like that. Imagine a front 3 of Cuadrado-Dybala-Morata... All 3 of them can actually play any of those positions.

the Serie A boat is gonna be hard to turn around anytime soon. 8 points back is in easy feat thank God its still September.
The win yesterday silenced some yes, but over time Allegri will do the silencing IMO. He had me freaked out with some of the lineup yesterday (Evra, Stuaro and no Dybala) but in the 2nd half I saw why and shut up about the lineup. I was probably most angry with Sturaro playing because he was so poor in the league...then his first half had me fuming so whatever Max said at HT worked. He was great in the 2nd half.
As far as the bust up with Cuadrado, X (wherever you are), I think he was freaked out like we all were about wasting as much time as possible. I'm sure at once the whistle blew he found Cuadrado in the locker room and cleared things up probably more domestically.

The team was clearly more well organized and balanced than before. Cuadrado's positioning was perfect, a thing of beauty. A RCM without the ball, a winger with it. Sturaro was very important for defensive reasons, he was fundamental in the 2nd half, given Hernanes inability to defend.
Overall the team looked much more composed and solid, he got the scheme right on. It wasn't obvious, it was a tough call, and he got Cuadrado's positioning perfectly.
Even the decision of leaving Morata on the pitch, who was having the worst game I've ever seen from him, destroying all our attacks and clearly with his mind shaken by his mistakes, out of confidence, payed in the end. It was a decision against all odds and he got it damn right. Dybala would possibly be destroyed by City's defenders due to his lack of physicality.

Yeah just did. Even if he didn't comment I am sure it wont affect him or bother him. Playing regularly after last season and for Juve, I don't think he can ask for me.

Well, now we've found some sort of stability, specially with Chiellini's savy performance and Cuadrado's perfect fit as a hibrid RCM / RW.

I'm still not convinced by Allegri, this is his first real season with a new Juve team, but his reaction to Cuadrado was justifiable. At any stage, especially the CL, minor things like that can cost you a game. None of you scream at the TV when Pogba or someone tries a step over for no reason and loses the ball to a counter attack? Why wait until the gave is over to give directions? The heat of the moment and the energy in the stadium and game is intense. It also shows Allegris involvement. If a player can't handle a coach screaming at him during the game and needs to be spoken to behind closed doors, that player shouldn't be playing for Juventus. Some other team will hold your hand. Here, you have to win.
