But they didn't, Rudi.
Your point was. Hustini needs to be against selling youth, regardless of what the price is

This guy wanted out, and we got much more then heis current worth, and we dont know wether he'll be worth it in 2 years time.

But as an indicator to greatness, that's still little more than a spin on a big roulette wheel.

If you're going to talk about young wingers with a more appreciable potential for greatness, you'd be better off pointing at Berardi.
Berardi showed alot more at this point

So what, he's still a young boy, who has a ton of talent, playing for one the best teams in the world in his first year, couldn't we just wait another year for him to settle even more ?
If it was an outright sale for 28 mil i would've accepted this as a good deal, it's a loan for 7 mil, 7 mil buys you a Peluso level player these days. And you are telling me that you prefer to have 7 mil instead of an improved Coman as a bench option ?
I'd have preferred to keep Coman, I'm always interested to see young talents develop, but he's just a talent at this stage.

I'm not sure I'm really bothered all that much if he is on the bench. Is he going to come on and change a game? Maybe, but we didn't see that too many times. His best performances were when the team was already running riot. Perhaps he'll be a protagonist himself soon enough.

You understand that Berardi was playing Serie B as an 18 year old? Right? Berardi's first season in Serie A was as a 19 year old, his birthday and Coman's are a month or so apart. So this would be Coman's equivalent season to Berardi's first in top flight.

What I'm saying, and it should be clear, is there is absolutely no point in selling a top prospect if you are not going to reinvest those funds in improving the team. If we sold COman and brought back Berardi with those funds this window, I would say great move. If we sold him and used it for the extra funds to seal a bid for a top AM, I would say great move.

If we have sold him, and don't make any moves to improve our first XI, I'll say it's a pointless and shitty move.

In Serie B Zach. For a tiny club. Big difference dude. Very big difference.

Not regardless the price, no. You're lying again.

We only got 7M; 5M of which this season. You're lying again, as we didn't get much more then he's current worth.

Oh, I agree there's no point in selling unless it was to finance another necessary move. We just haven't seen what that is yet - which is largely the management's fault.

Zach is ridiculous. Whatever suits his narrative goes.

At least Marotta defenders like B_Aus can admit when Marotta fucks up, when we have a bad transfer window, etc. Zach and DP84 just go on and on about how it was perfect.

Check out his Berardi post. He was sucking Coman's dick over that GIF last season and stating how Berardi is so far off him.

Now he is better.

I think I'm just disappointed by the management's failure to sign an AM, a position we acknowledge we've been trying to get a player for since last summer. It's quite ridiculous at this point.

The Coman sale can be considered a good move, but it's entirely dependent on what our management does with those funds. I'd much rather have Coman and give him the chance to prove he belongs here as a 19 year old with another year of experience, than Zaza who we wasted 18 mil on.

He also completely ignores the fact Berardi was playing for a minnow club like Sassuolo in Serie B at the age of 18. The same age COman was playing for the Juventus.

You're blatantly lying now.
Fine. I engaged in a little hyperbole. You guys defend pretty much every move, and even the one's you say were questionable, you defend them as well, saying they have their uses.

You called Vidal's season abysmal FFS.

Still lying.

For his standards, the level of performances we were used to getting from Vidal over the previous 3 season, it was abysmal, disappointing year and his sale didn't hit me that hard. Otherwise pretty much mediocre level of performances over the year, lifting up his game slightly towards the end of season.

He was back to his best at the end of the season and by far our best player

people defending the sell of Coman acts like he is so shit that we sold him to Palermo. for fuck sake we sold him to bayern. they have Goetze (your wetdream hero) as a bench player. and i bet this kid will play and kick major asses there, because he has the talent to be a top player.

instead of selling Llorente or not getting Zaza, horrible deals. you sell a highly rated youngster. this isn't a good deal in my opinion.

and you don't sell Vidal for 37milion, this is just terrible.

bayern fucked juve in the ass in this mercato, the faster you realize it the lesser you feel the butt hurt.

Bayern is very likely to pull that 28mil, he'll need to considerably stalled in development for them not to. And if thats the case, we'll still have 7 mil

I didnt want to sell Coman, but he wanted out so fuck him

OMFG

Remember when Zach was saying that Berardi was so faaaaar off Coman when we've signed last season?

What a fucking hypocrite.
Yeah, in 2014. What did he do since ? Not much. Berardi made steps.

I would have preferred Coman to stay, and hopefully finally explode. But he wanted out, so fuck him

Can you believe that Coman's sale is causing this much of a meltdown? People going berserk over failing to sign AM I can really relate to, but this :lol2:.
