Max Allegri said Juventus showed “character” to beat Lazio in the Italian Super Cup and are building “for the next four or five years.”
The Bianconeri started the season as they mean to go on, beating Lazio 2-0 in Shanghai.
“I’m very happy for the lads, who adapted well to the terrible conditions of the pitch. We needed a performance of character,” the Coach told Rai Sport.
“We had some good chances, one we wasted horribly and two that we took well. It was important to win today because we had some new players who need to settle in and were missing some others.
