Did you just say Pogba is useless at defending and box to box?

Pogba is a CM, one that needs space and freedom to use his wide range of skillset to his best of abilities. Being limited to AM is not it, just as a static holding midfielder was not for him whatsoever.

Cassano is horrible choice for AM and allways was better off as super lazy forward wide exploring space and finding solutions. Seedorf too fantastic as attacking CM to the sides to play AM full on for Milan, have them balance and poise. Boateng was mainly used there because with Ibra the upfront playmaker, he figured it's better to just have an aggressively physical runner in the whole to exploit space.

VB over Pirlo was about one thing only, defensive security, he didn't believe in Pirlo and wanted more coverage for the defenders.

In essence you seem to think you know better about tactical choices then a seemingly experienced top coach. Questioning things is one thing, but you are seriously saying he should play players out of position because you know better.

yes, you can when you have talent that pogba has
I disagree.

Pogba can play as AM and he will do relatively a good job, but that's not his best position IMO, and by playing him there you are weakning our MF. Best case scenario is to get an AM and play Pogba as a CM and give him additionnal freedom.
And you underrated his defensive contribution, he's not a Vidal let's say but he's not shabby either..

Zidane has been used as typical central midfielder, in years he developed himself into world's best attacking midfielder yet you telling me that the biggest talent on the planet Earth can't do the same :sergio:

How many goals we've conceded in the previous season because of Pogba's laziness on the counter-attacks when opponents tears us apart? Answer the question

He is using Morata and Dybala out of position when we swtich to 433 and he ruins them, they are useless as attacking wingers, yet you telling me that if we will use Pogba as TQ we will become worse team :sergio:

I wonder how this even possible that people are scared that we will lose quality of the team in the well known formation with moving Pogba to TQ and at the same time they think that if we will swap into 4321/433 we won't lose anything, do you realize that the change of formation is much harder thing to do than swapping players inside of the regular formation?! with moving to 433 we are fucked up seriously, it take months to get used to it, it's "BUY CONTE ATTACKING WINGER WE ARE TIRED OF 352" all over again

It seems to me that if Pogba were to develop into an attacking midfielder, he would be more of a Ballack type of player (power and scoring), rather than Zidane (vison and playmaking).

Allegri's injury syndrom :boh:
Setting up nicely for his traditional slow start to the season :scared: nah I'll stay positive.

Regarding Pogba at AM I mostly agree with what you said. I mentioned it a while back, and besides him being our most technical player, had his recent laziness in dropping back/ closing down his side in mind. But you gotta admit that could also limit his bursting runs from the back.

Ideally we will find that deadly AM by the end of mercato, if not getting a solid CM and pushing Pogba further or Dybala at AM could also work, but Max doesnt seem to see it that way.

Hopefully we don't fall back a lot at the start and end up chasing teams for the rest of the season. I want to believe Allegri has a plan to minimize the damages.

All them $#@!sckrs in the league are smelling blood, I tell ya.
Thats also a concern of mine.

We usually had half the battle won when our opponents lined up against the likes of Vidal, Tevez and Pirlo. They shat themselves.

Or do you mean they smell blood as Tampona Aquilani maybe in our starting line up this year? :scared:

I don't remember if Allegri brought his physical training staff along with him from Milan.

Anyway, the whole staff is responsible for this crisis. Preseason was clearly very poorly planned.

I meant injuries and what you said about Tevez, Vidal. Is aquilani a merket opportunity now? Riverof blood, no amount of tampons could stop that.

Tevez and Evra say its harder in Italy than anywhere else. We need max fitness before seasons starts so its bound to happen.
