Caceres went down too easily, but the goal was mostly the fault of Licht and the midfield for not closing down Tiago. Figures he would be the one to burst out and make a good play down the wing.

One could say that all goals arrive from individual errors, even 30 yard bombs because someone in midfield didn't close down Hagi. It's about minimizing individual errors and maximizing errors on the other team. In the current formation with very little but predictable movement, we are too easy to close down both as a team and individuals. And that's why we had zero efforts on goal yesterday.

I thought it was mostly allowing Juanfran all the time in the world to pull such a cross, Tiago's pass was good but Juanfran was all alone and was able to aim a perfect cross.

I think he was tired from running. It was late in the game, a sudden sprint happened...Licht is always trying to cross balls to llorente and defending at the same time, so his kind of things can happen.

Thats another thing i dont like about our 352. it demans too much from our ageing wingbacks...who are not top dogs anyways.

Our 352 is good for certain thngs... but IMO the cons are too many when things are not going our way or when teams shut down our original gameplan.

352 with tired wingbacks, and Bonuci + Chiello i a time bomb witing to explode. No matter how you look at it

They parked the bus in their own stadium, created NOTHING, and won with a soft goal.

We are topping this group......easily

We had 0 shots on target over the course of 90+ minutes. They created little, but we created even less. See, it actually works both ways

The toughest group game could quite possibly be the home match against Atletico if we happen to need points to progress. We looked poor in the first 45 against Malmo and couldn't muster any chances in Madrid. I'd say that's not a good start whatsoever.
