So nobody knows about this issue?

youd be naive to think he changed his mind with no precursor, im pretty sure mgmt reneged or failed to deliver on one of its promises
Say what you will about upper management but they don't strike me as the kind of people who would have lied straight to Contes face about investments only to fail to deliver 1 month later. I mean Beppe and all that have no problem saying to the fans about our lack of funds at every opportunity, and Conte himself has made comments.

So wouldn't it be a bit stupid of Conte to moan about our financial situation publicly only to throw a tantrum at upper mgmt about lack of funds. That's like knowing you have 10 thousand in your bank and moaning at the Ferrari dealer when you can't afford anything he has to offer.

Im trying to believe that part of his utter failure with Milan was in part because of that inep board selling everyone. Not only that, but they publicly bashed Allegri and offered him to the media wolves without remorse. Allegri is at fault for permitting that shid and not resigning....but also that tells alot about the kind of scoundrels that Berlusca and Fester are.
We need to put little more faith in this guy, as we are not talking about Ranieri, Del Neri or some other scrubs here. This guy actually won something important in his career and considering the utter garbage he was handed later on, he still managed to bring the best out of them. Just look at that Milan team from the last season, pathetic group of players.

About Milan.... After Allegri left them, nothing really changed for them. They continued to suck. He was given a very bad squad to work with in his last season there, and well, changing coaches just didn't help them one bit. They just have a bad squad at the moment (strengthened now with the acquisition of Alex and Menez). But to me it seems Galliani and his signings (or lack thereof) have been the main reason for their downfall. Like I wrote in an earlier post, some of the blame may also be attributed to Allegri, but I don't believe he was the main reason for their decline.

I hope Allegri keeps up the fitness levels...we were superior to pretty much everyone in that department under Conte.
Hopefully
