Interesting week this will be, we'll know at the end of next week how well can Alegri cope with the pressure .
Why wouldn't he be able to handle pressure?

He's been through all the stuff he's going through at Juve - in terms of the issues at a big club of balancing the league and the CL - when he was at Milan.

People really shouldn't set such 'we'll find out about whatever now' marks for Allegri since he is a proven, experienced coach.

It was perfectly understandable to set these milestones for Conte, since he had not faced the challenges of being at a big club before coaching Juve.

Nah, if Allegri loses on Wednesday, expect nothing more but moaning and calling out for Conte to come back :D

That's be expected.

But people who follow Serie A should not be acting as if Allegri is some unknown quantity as a coach.
Allegri, the man who had beyond shit for defence, and actually won at home against barcelona based on a perfectly placed defence, spot on tactics for controlling the space, and the first to have a working rotation of pressing players against barcelona, now copied by many.

Sadly, when playing away from home ,the shit quality of his defence and Niang , who is actually a living shit, the odds were to much against him.

Wich is why he is so humble and gratefull at juventus. Suddenly a balanced top team he can tinker around with. And has seemingly improved so far

That 2-0 win for Milan in the first game was an extraordinary performance considering the gulf in quality between the two sides.

One of the big things Allegri did in that game was to have the whole team maintain shape at all times, so that they didn't get too spaced out, which would have caused them to tire and create space for Barca.

Pazzini was the centre-forward and he was frequently back about 30 yards from his own goal in order to maintain the shape.

Was interested to note Aberdeen doing the same thing at the weekend. We played 4-4-2, so were outnumbered in midfield and had to control the space in there. Aberdeen pulled everyone back in shape and had the two strikers pretty much playing against the opposition's two deep midfielders. That meant our two midfielders could simply focus on the trequartista and blocking off the space and passing angles around him and the centre-forward.

Our coach does some remarkably clever stuff by SPL standards.

Just a shame our two midfielders were too stupid to execute the plan properly.

I was one of the biggest Conte fans and Allegri haters especially about that fucking Muntari goal moaning which lasts for months but I must admit that he handle his job very correctly .Even if we lose to Atletico I will stand by him. It's a must win for them.Roma is another story .We play on our own turf with a full packed stadium and I expected nothing less than a victory.
