I like this guy more and more.

Now that Barzagli is injured, this practically puts an end to any doubts regarding the formation vs Barcelona.

I just wish he could save Pirlo for the 2nd half. But he's already said big players must play big games. He's not wrong, because Pirlo can decide the game on a freekick or long ball, and we will need something like this to win.

Pirlo has been better against Madrid, despite some fuckups, and looked good in the 2nd half / extratime vs Lazio.

But still, he kind of kills our pace, when we will need to counter. And his blunders against Barcelona would be lethal.

I really think it's a bad decision playing him, like it was vs Madrid. Let's hope it works.

Allegri will have to train really hard how to get out of their insane pressing. We shouldn't risk it too much with short passes. But it's like vs Dortmund... once you go off the pressure, their high defense is exposed.

4312 vs. Barca.

but lets say we are one goal up in minute 75, do you think max would
stick to it? i dont think so.
He might bring on ogbonna or even sturaro, or switch Licht to RCB
with padowin playing RM...

i’m pretty sure we will see some 352 when we are leading.

i also think barza is gonna be ready for 30 minutes, no matter what. :xfinger:

I just think that, more defensive solidity and chances on scoring a counter, is better then hoping we get a freekick in a good spot and keep a clean sheet versus messi, suarez, iniesta and neymar

If we set up defensive and let in a goal we won't really be able to counter them as they won't be so reluctant to push forward.

I think starting with the 4-3-1-2 is the right choice as it also gives us more going forward and we are still good in defence.

I don't like trying to absorb all the pressure especially against Barcelona as we will.need to get a foot hold in the game ourselves to keep them on their toes.

Wich is why i'd want pereyra, cause then we got that counter threat, and they cant push as much, and we'd be solid as fuck in the center
