He just had to do the obvious thing. Sub Pirlo out, Marchisio as a DM. Sub Llorente out, Coman in.
He didn't do it when we are already looking very bad in the 2nd half and the draw was coming. And he didn't do it after the draw.
I really don't expect anything from him at this point. He'll keep the cruise. Pirlo will continue to be a starter, Coman will remain as a non option.

Let's be honest, the only way to move away from the 3-5-2 was to play somebody out of position, Allegri didn't have a Summer to work with Beppe to get players he absolutely needed
It was either, ride out the 3-5-2 this season (I'd rather stab myself in the gut) and transition next year, or get it over and done with this year, and HOPEFULLY in the Summer we have a starting XI of players who work well and get to play in their favoured position.

we got two choises with the cm's we got
play a 433, but we aint got the wingers

Allegri chose the second option. A good vidal, who played the position back in germany before, would not have a difficulty with it. We didnt have any choise.
