Looks like those losses against Genoa and Olympiakos really woke him up. Very happy with his work with us since then. Bravo Max.
I wasn't impressed with his appointment but I said at the time, he is our coach now, let's get behind him.
I am happy to say I was wrong, we play a different kind of football but still entertaining most times, certainly more then last year when we were so predictable that most games were resolved by brilliant individual plays (Pirlo's free kicks, Tevez genius plays etc) but rarely by well constructed actions.

I wasn't sad to see Conte go, I really do believe he had taken us as far as he can take us. Though like yourself I was worried more about Allegri's appointment than Conte leaving , it is good to see that he's managed to prove a lot of us wrong.

What I have come to appreciate about Max is the way he handled the fact that most Juve fans disliked him or openly opposed to his appointment. He never clashed with them, infact he said he could see their point of view and he understood where they were coming from. He also said "time will tell, I'll try my best to win even the most unconvinced Juve fan". Well, hats off to the guy.

Perfect attitude.

As funny as that gif is as sad as it is, it's worrying how many chances they need to score a goal.
Going back to the early Conte side we were a lot like this. I think when you are a team who creates a lot of chances you lose attacking concentration, the mindset is that another chance is coming, until they eventually run out or something changes the flow of the game.

I think under Max this team is creating more scoring opportunities and a lot easier chances to score than last year or two years ago, the finishing is lacking concentration like you said and if this doesn't improve at some point it's gonna cost them in CL obviously.

i think we are done with signings like that. we are now focusing on younger talents with potential to become great players one day and replace the current ones. thats why we see names like Kramaric, Pocchetino, Schar etc. popping up lately
