We've been seeing more and more of those in the last two games. As someone said before while he coached Milan, despite having an inferior team, they often managed to outplay us. We'd grind those wins in the end mostly due to significant gap in quality, won most of our games against them, but anyone who have seen those matches was a bit disappointed with our display.
Yea we Did see them but not as much. I do remember that game where marchisio scored a double and they outplayed us

So.. If Conte didn't have the players needed to play another formation then 352 why the heck is he still playing the 352 at the NT? There he's got multiple players capable of playing a 433 or whatever. The man is stubborn on his formation and even with Iturbe we'd still be playing 352 right now.
because the 4-3-3 and 4-3-1-2 and all other 4 man defence variations failed under prandelli, yet when they played 3 at the back they were at their most comfortable namely in matches against spain and england

Ironically Italy look better off with a back 3, and were excellent at the EUROs when using it.

International and club football, two very different things

Hell, Netherlands and Chile looked great at the WC with a back 3/5

I can't remember if Mexico used a variant of a 3 man defence or not.

Actually the game where we beat them 2-0 with the Marchisio double we absolutely destroyed them. Probably the only game against them in the Allegri era where we were totally dominant against them.
