What if he wins scudetto's in a row and has good results in UCL
It depends on what you consider as "good results". IMO there's a pretty slim chance of him achieving it but there's always a chance, yeah. For me he has to show improvement as a coach if he wants to stay longer, not only looking at the board and waiting for better players joining in every Summer. We already have a very decent squad which underachieved in Europe. When you look at what Klopp or Simeone are given to work with you realize it's not just about signing better players every Summer.

As for results I want him to get a scudetto/scudetti but more importantly he has to push this squad to its limits in Europe. If he achieves semis during his time here (I guess it'd be about 2-3 years of trust) I'd be able to give him more. Otherwise we'll have to look for a coach that will be able to make this squad overachieve in Europe for once instead of constant underachieving or doing 'ok'. If we never make that next step and "overachieve" (at least) for once it'll be a vicious circle. We'll turn into Arsenal of the CL and I don't think that's a dream for our board or any of us - fans.

I'm not being impatient with Allegri but I'm trying to take a step back and looking at a bigger picture. Conte has done all the wet work for us and I still have my doubts if Allegri can make us go any further. Latest formation change, results and the way we played made me somewhat hopeful while before that he was frustrating from my POV. The time will tell.

But you seem impatient, we have to give this man a proper chance for me he is so far better than Conte tactically, in press conferences and the players seem to like him more plus he seems to place players more into 'their' position and I like him more than conte in terms of character he is more like a father figure and calm coach ppl compare him to Ancelotti. He is like more experienced in press I don't know why, he knows what to say and his tactical 'gambles; and his subs are all on spot. He knows what he is doing, and he knows what he wants the team to do with his possession not like Conte used to say press run run shoot shoot shoot.

With limited squad in Milan he did wonders, with scrub team like Cagliari or average one he did great something that Conte didn't. I love Conte but for some fans ( I'm not saying you are one) he is saint, and they don't simply understand Conte was just good/great Serie A coach nothing more, he lacked balls in Europe and Allegri just showed that maybe its one game but we'll see. I hate comparing managers and teams and players I really do but this man so far in my eyes is more like an upgrade. I agree if he fails to make us progress and take that step forward in Europe that he needs to go but he needs time for that too about 1-2 seasons. This man is not always looking for some reasons to just be in right ( Conte with his 7th place and signings). To be honest I like him so far in short words.

and I agree time will tell.

I hope I didn't offend you in my post or something :)

Juve 'not thinking of Malmo’

Juventus will not be thinking about their crucial game with Malmo until after Saturday’s game with Lazio, according to Massimiliano Allegri.

Juventus face a trip to Sweden on Wednesday, with Champions League qualification in the balance. If the Bianconeri win their final two group games they will qualify for the latter stages, something which the club failed to achieve last season.

Despite the crucial game on the horizon, Allegri warns that the Bianconeri cannot take their eye off the ball.

“We have a duty to think about tomorrow,” Allegri cautioned in his Press conference ahead of the Lazio game.

“We’ll think about Wednesday’s game the day after tomorrow.

“I believe we have the potential [to get to the last eight in the Champions League], now our main priority is to go through because if we want to get to the last eight we should try to get six points and finish top of the group.

“Olympiacos have a good chance of going through, just as we do and Atletico Madrid do, so everything is still open.

“Speaking about the last eight now is practically impossible, we’ll discuss the last eight after we get through the group stage.”

Allegri also discussed Roberto Mancini’s return to Inter, and believes that the change will invigorate the Nerazzurri.

“Inter are always a dangerous team, because quality players don’t lost that talent over a month or two.

“Unfortunately - as I learned last year when I was sacked by Milan - when things aren’t going well it’s the Coach who pays the price.

“Mancini is an important person returning to Italian football, he knows the landscape and he can be an extra asset to his team.

“I don’t know if they’ll be able to battle with us [for the title], but they’ll definitely be in the top positions.”

Finally, the Juventus Coach had words of sympathy for Roma defender Leandro Castan, who will undergo brain surgery next month.

"I would like to offer a huge 'good luck’ to Castan,” Allegri informed the assembled media.

“He’s facing a serious operation. Although he’s a great player - which is unfortunate as he’s an opponent - I hope to see him back on the pitch as soon as possible.”
