Except it did happen, we made it 3-3 then ended up losing due to dubious circumstances. Left many of us proud despite the loss.

Moroccans are genuinely proud of their performance at the World Cup in 2022 as where South Koreans at 2002, despite not winning. You can still lose and hold your heads up high.

mate juventus is as much a competitor that goes "toe to toe" with real madrid as fiorentina is a competitor with juve.

competitors win titles, not one off matches.
Nah, Juventus were the only team in Europe that knocked Real Madrid out from 2014 to 18. The comparison is rather silly, unless everyone else in Europe is 'Fiorentina' in comparison.

This reminds me of Juve fans when they used to mock Napoli for being winter champions.

If you aren't first you are last. Nobody gives a fuck about who came 2nd.

There used to be this famous quote associated with Juventus maybe you have forgotten it so I will remind you...

“Winning isn't important, it's the only thing that matters.”

First of all, I couldn't care what anybody else thinks. Secondly, I'm a Juventus fan and I watch football for entertainment. CL nights under Allegri's first reign entertained me and therefore they stood out in comparison. Believe it or not, I can enjoy watching Juventus in the CL even if we don't end up winning the tournament.

Except there isn't a participation award in the CL you moron. Your Crusade against Allegri, discredits Juventus history. Between 2015 to 2019 we were one of the more successful teams in Europe. Comparing us to Fiorentina is not only disingenuous but also an insult to one of our most successful eras in history. No team was close to that Real Madrid.

He is contrarian for the sake of it. Whatever majority feels, he has to go against. Dont waste time...

juventus won 38 scudetti during its 118 years of existence

80 years of failure and you're still a fan

l0ser

btw sampdoria was founded 78 years ago, won serie a once, so they suck less than juventus. go and cheer for them buddy
My friend why are you attacking me for this?

If you read what I said I said juventus doesn’t
go toe to toe with Real Madrid. A factual statement evidenced by both clubs trophies in champions league. No club does. It’s silly to praise someone for one off matches.

I didn’t say anything about stopping support for juve because it didn’t win trophies or more trophies in its history .

Why did you attack me like that? You know I was watching juve streams when it was in serie b …and I’m all for playful banter but it’s really hurtful when you suggest I stop supporting the club because I don’t support a coach . I’m sorry you think of me this way.

And that we were even in that position to begin with should also be considered a failure in itself.
At some point that was Allegri's biggest flaw. He was great at creating plans for spectacular comebacks. I mean, who on Earth puts Lichtsteiner on when you need a goal the way he did against Tottenham? But he always fucked up at first and got us in situations we should never have been in.

Do you remember our home game? The amount of chances we missed, then red card for Dybala and we played with a man down against a team that no one had managed to eliminate for 3 straight seasons. Fans who cant appreciate the grit our team showed that night, deserve all the shit show we have seen over the last several years.

the away game was great, it felt like we showed our true potential there, that if we're not scared and play balls out from minute 1, we could pin back and beat anyone in Europe. looking back at that team some players feel underrated, f.e. Matuidi, who that summer was an influential player for France winning the WC, that guy could run.

however that game feels like a stark contrast to the half-assed football we played for most of that season in CL.
