“The small details matter.”

Very true. Nice fuck up with the Milik fetish.
While it turned out to be a fuck up indeed, it's not like it was expected Milik to get a red card. What's much more disappointing is the way we behaved with a man less. Nothing short of pathetic. Provincial, poor, pathetic. That's on the quality of most of our players, but at least as much it was on Allegri.

Alex Sandro is a jinx and that decision to play Milik because Yildiz needs to be `"protected"...

Nothing says stupid pub talk like blaming a coach for a players red card. Especially when it happens like this.

I bet Allegri is furious with Milik. A player who should be experienced does something as stupid as this.

If our team wasn't as thin as it is. It wouldn't surprise me if Allegri never played Milik again.

The decision to start Milik over Yildiz ultimately cost us but I think I think the reaction is overblown. On a normal day Milik and Vlahovic would have been fine for the win, nobody would have predicted a 15 minute red card from him.

What I didn't like was the tactics after going down to 10. The players were poor individually (Locatelli/Miretti/Kostic/Gatti) but we should have played much quicker to try to stop them getting in position to outnumber us. I'd have liked to have seen Yildiz come on in the first half. We needed someone who could beat a man and he is one of the few who could do that.

Pure crap, he will play Milik again as soon as he’s available, just like he’s done with all the other shit players like Bernardski.

Apparently a coach should never rotate.

Then when he doesn’t rotate and players pick up muscle injuries…

Same people: this is all on the coach for never rotating!!!
Normally I 100% agree with this take. But in a season where we play once a week, there’s no harm imo in starting Yildiz here. Bring on Milik in the 60th min or whatever if Yildiz is having a poor game.

It’s about knowing who/what to rotate..
And Milik is currently our only backup striker. Coming off a hat trick in Coppa two weeks ago. Of course we’re going to use him occasionally. It sucks he did something completely boneheaded and got a red that killed this match… but these matches against the worst teams in the league are exactly when you can usually rotate without consequences.

I’ll definitely agree that Sandro should never see the pitch ever. Rugani should have started in place of Danilo.
