I relish a glorious victory due to some amazing individual performances and a goal from a player he left rotting on the bench and is only playing because McKennie is injured.
you're right to be mad at macs for benching fagioli so much. i thought he had some physical issues or something, but it looks like it was an other bad call. fortunately the guy is taking his chances, no way he'll be benched for an other month now.

as for today, the 1st half was terrible, we couldn't keep the ball enough, we were ineffective, zero attacking ideas, we were lucky not to go behind. 2nd half was different. look at all of our counters, we outnumbered inda every time, and we could have scored more of those, inda simply gave away too much space. that's a coaching thing, not individual brilliance

Absolutely essential that we back this up with a win at Verona.

Would be typical of the past few seasons to drop points in that game.
Thats my fear as well. We need to put this win behind us asap and focus on beating Verona. 6 points before the break is a must if we want to have a shot at a title.

I don't see any way that we will catch Napoli. But we need to get ourselves in a good position for top 4.

We should aim for second place. Milan and Atalanta aren’t that much better than Lazio, Roma or Inter.
As for first place, let’s not even think about it. Puts unnecessary pressure. If Napoli slips up, we can try chasing them.

Need Napoli to get a couple L's and drop some confidence.

Without McKennie injury, Fagioli would rot forever on the bench so that's not management, it's luck. I still want Allegri out. I have such low confidence in the guy that with both Di Maria and Chiesa coming back, I think he'll move us back to crap 4-4-2.

They might fizzle out, wouldnt be the first time it happened. But they have incredible start to the season and play really well, both in Italy and Europe. Either way, we should focus on winning every game until the end and lets see where we end.

we should take one game at a time. this is still a very fragile team with a disfunctional midfield. 1st half could have been 0-2 easily
It reminds me of juve- inter game last season where we dominated them but inter won 1-0.With this injury crisis it is impossible to know how good we are as a team.
