Not sure if it’s been mentioned here but the current conditioning of our players and number of injuries could also be down to players deciding not to play through minor niggles. Hardly any footballer is playing at 100%. It’s easier to go down and not play when you’re feeling the pressure, lost joy for the game, have no desire to play and support your manager or teammates, etc.
Our back to back 7th finishes were littered with injuries.

If that’s the case then it’s highly unlikely to improve this season and is another knock on the dinosaur. Players were running through walls for Conte and Mourinho in his pomp. What motivation could you have to play through any pain barrier for this man?

Antonio Conte's contract with Tottenham expires in June, but the Salento coach postpones any talk relating to the renewal. And, in the meantime, he continues to keep an eye on the situation in Europe, especially for the Italian teams. @tuttosport
I think Conte is tired of having to build squads from scratch and wants to win now with proven players.

I remember in a press conference he threw Barella and Sensi under a bus saying how they are only kids etc and demanded the club give him proven Champions which they did and they went on to win the league.

Couldn't imagine him wanting to make do with our young players and market opportunities unless of course he sees the likes of Vlahovic and Chiesa as Champions and Locatelli and Bremer as guarantees to build a base from.

With every day passing it’s becoming more likely that he is staying for now.
If they wanted to sack him.. they would have after Monza
It left no excuses.. the poorest Juve I have watched.. even Del Neri's Juve had more desire/will to perform more than this Juve which looks clueless mid table team that guaranteed safety in the last 4 weeks of the season.

No sane person would question the decision to sack him

Nicolini (Shakhtar sporting director): "I proposed De Zerbi to Juve, in my opinion it was the right time for the bianconeri to sign him but there was no interest in moving forward as the management needed time to decide.

If he's staying, then for all our sakes, I hope it's a repetition of the 15/16 season when we started even worse than this season.
(I can't remember how we played back then, so checked out a few comments in this thread around that time. Basically it's the same thing that's being said now. So maybe there's hope? :boh:)

I would said the same...

If he didn't have a whole season last season of us being awful.

A whole season of shit can't be called be a bad form hiccup, like early period 15/16 could been. The scary thing is this season is just continuation of last seasons shitfest.
