I doubt they fire Max, especially after drawing this match, with all the injuries we have, against a Roma that everyone has been raving about making a run at the scudetto after their mercato… he’ll last until we get out injured players back, but I’d hope we fire him at winter break if we aren’t putting together some good performances and getting results with Paredes in, and Di Maria, Pogba, Chiesa back from injury. And he’ll deserve to be fired at that point.
Wait, you are not supporting him anymore?

You should not talk about allegri like that

Got everything spot on in the first half. Tactically we were excellent and the attitude was really good.

Second half Roma changed it and the space that Kostic and Miretti had in the first half was gone. Miretti tiring early in the second half really impacted us. It shows we need to take advantage when we are on top.

We deserved the win. Roma didn't really create much and a set piece has cost us but at 1-0 that's the risk and why we can't rely on scraping wins with this team.

Subs were poor, I'd far rather a knackered Cuadrado on the pitch who is capable of pulling some magic than even a fresh McKennie. At that point the game was over. Although Milik was better than I was expecting.

Fvck off you coward. Those subs were infuriating. Stepped off the jugular of a very well deserved win with boneheaded decisions and scared mindset.

I will sleep with nightmares of Mckennie as Right winger, clawing and fouling his opponent while whole team waiting for his cross in box, when he had the ball and needed to do a basic dribble and cross against a kid in Zalewski.

Same start as Pirlo had in 20/21 season. One win and two draws. One of them was against Roma too.

It’s not boding well for Max this season. This is his squad now. Signings he wanted. I know we are missing some players but it doesn’t excuse the awful subs, the way we seemingly sat back and retreated into our own shell for much of the second half.

Just not fucking good enough. Another draw that feels like a loss that will haunt us at the end of the season.

So, after making all these changes in the squad we still play like garbage. Is McKennie suddenly a winger? Why is Vlahovic so isolated? Is Kostic a defensive winger or something because I'm not seeing any new creativity. 3 shots on target. Allegri gets sacked after either PSG or Benfica games.
He's not getting sacked even if we get knocked out of the group stages.

I hope we mutually part ways after this season as I'm not expecting a significant improvement. It's the same old problems, no change in mentality.

Set up the team perfectly, got the tactics spot on for a dominant first 60 minutes, and then just threw it all away with complacency and mind-boggling subs :lol2:
Stop it, they were dead on the pitch. There were no alternatives and he had to try something. Prefer this over sitting on his hands all game long.

Kicked on even more in the second half, pressured high, tried to get a goal, a couple of dumb giveaways and counters by Roma gave them confidence and conceded a stupid goal.

Nothing came from the wings, they had so many chances and balls to put in and best crosses came from De Sciglio and Sandro.

Nothing to blame him for tonight.

Typical tuz overreaction after great performance.
Not really. And it was nowhere near a grea performance either. 60 mins we were good against a very poor Roma and that’s about it.

Like others have said, for a few years now, we can’t close games out and we cannot coke back from losing or drawing positions as much anymore. Team totally died after Allegri’s shit subs and we didn’t look anywhere close to scoring. Actually Roma looked more threatening and we started making clownish decisions on both ends of the field.

Let's say our season depends on di Maria and Pogba being fit to add creativity.

:agree:

Conceding on Roma’s first chance of the match after being dominant for 60 minutes is one thing. Immediately losing all confidence, playing 10 behind the ball and panic defending, is another. And when your coach subs all his creative attacking players off within 5-10 minutes of conceding that can’t help with that confidence, panic, mindset, whatever either. Disastrous subs from Allegri that just reinforce that pants-shitting mindset every time things go wrong.
WTF are you talking about. We had 65% possession in the second half alone. Roma had more possession and we relied on counters more in the first half.

He will not get sacked if the fans a d media doesnt protesta with mor eagerness.

The allegri out campaign needs more steam, but it will surely start soon at This pace. Allegri is just serie c material right now so it doesnt matter.

I still can't get it.

McDonalds as RW.

That guy can't play CM properly.

How can we be so clueless even in the second year of Allegri. I really must say that I'm highly disappointed in Allegri. He had my full support, but some of his choices make 0 sense these days.
What's the alternative? Leave dead Cuadrado on and let him continue giving up the ball all over the place and never ever cross from good positions?

Only positive is the others have dropped points as well.

Here's a controversial take.

Rabiot coming off really hurt us
Yeah it hurt us because instead of a ball playing aggressive mid la Rovella, this guy put a no pass destroyer next to Locatelli.
Instead of keeping the intensity and passing lanes he decided that we are too offensive.
I would bet that if we didn't concede by the 75th minute one of cuads or Kostic would have been subbed out for Rovella to keep the score.
