Top coaches (Lippi, Mourinho, Ferguson, Ancelotti etc) pull 65 to 75min subs usually when players are tired and for some other tactical reasons.
Statements like that are great.

All coaches usually make subs earlier than Allegri did last night, including Allegri.

But that doesn't mean it is always necessary/desirable to make subs earlier than Allegri did last night.

You have to look at each game individually to see what is required.

I had no issue with how Allegri handled the substitutions last night.

First of all, i'm going to laugh by how bad your post just is

then i'll point out you said "when players are tired and for some other tactical reasons".
My point was if you are winning the game, and controll it, the tactic is going perfectly well and shouldnt be altered.
Lastly, i'll point out I said "no substitutes unless neccecary". Wich implies players getting injured, or to tired to continue (like lichtsteiner sometimes).

So i thank you for showing me i was right, with good examples.
I wonder if you ever stepped into the pitch and played 90min, seriously? :D

Substitutions are made for both Fatigue and tactical reasons whether you are winning or not. If you do not trust your bench then you are in serious issue and they wont give you in return much when they are called.

You can be winning and still change tactics if you think this doesn't happen often then this is sad.

Last night there were players that ran out of gas and some players on the bench could have added more.

Some matches are exceptions indeed, no disagreements here, my statement was directed to Zach saying one shouldn't change tactics so long his team are in-lead which is pretty much naive thing to say.

Malmo's match wasn't the first match Allegri takes his time to make his subs, had it been the first time I wouldn't be highlighting this, Conte did this plenty of times making his first subs in the last 6-7min when he should have made it much earlier.

Allegri handled the match very well, but I think he should have more balls even when Juve are in lead and make earlier subs, it's good for team moral as-well.

We played our 2nd game in 3 days with a very big match this weekend. He took off our most key players probably to either give em a rest or not risk an injury in a game we were easily controlling.

I see no issues with his subs yesterday. Of course I would have loved to see them sooner but they at least made sense to me.

No issue with his picks, issue with the timing only.

I would have liked to see Morata come on earlier because Llorente had an off night and was frustrating. The last two at the end of the game was only to waste time. I think Allegri was so focused on ensuring the 3 pts for the group was the goal he wanted to keep his starters on as long as possible. The save risk of injury and waste time the last 2 subs were made.

So his plan is to waste time only? Because all his subs are done pretty almost at the end of the match :D

Usually one subs to waste time is reserved for injury times true, but the other two should have been earlier.

especially morata..it's not like his entrance in 75-80 would have changed the game in a bad manner.. and romulo too.. but these are small things that i think this coach can repair.

Can't you fuckers be happy you didn't see Padoin?

If it was Conte it would have been Padoin for Asa and Peluso for Evra. :touched:

If we approach some of our remaining games against weaker opposition like we did last night, boy are we going to be in big trouble.

For now, Tevez is there to pull the strings, but as soon as these teams figure out a way to neutralize him, keep him at bay or just decide to punch him and knock him down for 90 minutes, we will have a hard time breaking the opposition with 3 CB's in the team.

Hopefully Allegri won't be stubborn as Conte was.

Peluso or Padoin for Evra around 75min would have been a good choice. Evra was tired in the last 10-15min and Peluso would have covered just as good.

To be honest, we were a bit unlucky. Evra had that dream ball played into the 6 yard box where we came close and Licht had a couple brain farts that should have been goals. We could have easily won 4-0 last night.
