Some people simply can't resist the idea of change. For them grass is always greener somewhere else. "If only we could have player A instead of player B all would be well in cuckoo land". "Allegri plays the wrong formation, he should play player A instead of player B and play player C in different position, if only we had another coach we would win everything while playing football reminiscent of the 70s Brazil".

I seriously thought that things would be different after last summer, obviously I was wrong. I thought people would actually have faith in the team, but all it takes is a couple of lackluster performances and you would think you are visiting forzeinterforums after their inevitable mid season collapse.

It's great that people discuss things that they feel passionate about but putting things in some perspective wouldn't go amiss.

Allegri was living the dram with his Khedira here...thats why he never bothered looking for top quality in mdifield. According to him, khedira was enough to cover Vidals absence.

And now here we are.
:sergio:

Can you please stop with that "Allegri never asked for better mids" bullshit?

What Allegri says to the public isn't the same he says to the management. Of course he doesn't go out and bashes his players, but that doesn't mean he didn't ask Marotta to get them quality mids.

This is why things like war happens, for example. It just takes 2 powerful dudes with totally opposite ways of thinking to just start a nuke fest.

What you just said is exactly totally the opposite of what i think. Isnt it beautiful? that minds could be so alike and at the same time so different!

You are happy with our grindfest style of gameplay, while im not.

Thats all theres to it.

Have fun.

People expecting someone at Juventus make things that have to be discussed behind the closed doors parts of the show probably don't fully understand how the business on such a level is done. This is one of the most powerful families in the world who owns this club, not some nouveaux riches like 99% of owners of other clubs, who cannot hold their tongues themselves, not to mention their staff.

These people have what is called "culture", and they carefully maintain it on all the levels. As far as I remember, even Conte acted appropriately here and everyone was shocked when he left. Later we all had the possibility to see him in the perfect example of the club I'm talking about as the opposite of Juventus.

I'm not against improving. It's just really hard to objectively look at what we've achieved for the past 7-8 years and be overly critical. Personally I enjoy balanced football where players know their roles and do their jobs well on both ends of the pitch. Being just "entertaining" (which is pretty fucking subjective) won't cut it for me.

Our difference is that you concentrate on flaws while I concentrate on positives. It will be the same with the next manager. You'll find the things that you don't like and I'll find the things that I do like. Sometimes it's not the surroundings that need changing.

is not about the manager and is not about Guardiola football (for ex).

Like you i also enjoy organized football when it is done the right way. For example the unbeatable juve of the late 90´s and ....*drum rolls*....Allegris first season here, when he ditched the Conte formation and played his own till the final. I loved the way we played, but for that, we had exemplary players on all lines, specially in midfield.

You know why some posters are overly critical? because theres a thing called progression. Listen, i know some people here see some fans here as ingrates because we have won so much in the last 8 years and still b!tch..... but the reason people are not overjoyed with our current style, is because we have regressed in the way we used to play. Our football peaked in that first season with max, and after that the midfield got butchered and we have never recovered.

Our trophies from the last 8 years are a treasure, but i think is about time we try for more. In Italy, the truth is that we are Allmighty and even when playing below par we win. Thats the ugly truth. Our enemies are miles behind us, and this is fine in a way because we have worked so much for that to happen,,, but in the other way not so much because we have stagnated. We can continue beating records in italy which is fine... but we need to improve in our performance too, and improve where we can improve continously.

Now we have top players in every line (bar midfield AKA the issue), including CR7 but we cant play to his strenghts. Why? why it cannot be done?

I understand that you get frustrated that we focus on the negatives... but to become better, we need to pinpoint on the issue (the negatives) and fix them.

Then, you could say "but what issue? we are winning"...yeah we are winning but we should not be comformist or fool ourselves thinking that we are kings in italy and stay in our comfort zone till forever.

Its time to step up our game.

Pjanic's net negative might unleash a nuke fest on the forum @Post Ironic @DAiDEViL
Pjanic is fine, but IMO misused.
