What he does every year is basically get the team to control games rather than go flat out like you see with some other coaches. It works well for keeping players fresh over the season, but the ultimate point of this should be that when we face the important and difficult games like those in the CL the team is ready and can step into 5th gear and the level of the team goes up massively from what you see here. Last season we narrowly went out because of a dreadful leg at home, but that can happen. You aren't going to see Allegri play like Klopp and have the team going at 80-90%. If you see Liverpool go far in more than one competition this season then bravo to them, I don't expect it.

The other issue here is Serie A. It's a shitshow at times. Parma tonight played the game of their lives but were pretty tired after 60' and offered nothing to make the game open from an attacking POV. I saw Ronaldo on his own with 4 defenders around him when they were trailing. You don't get that elsewhere, not a chance. In England or Spain you always have to attack because they know nothing else, it's a slugfest.
Something like last year when Bentacur didn't get to start any game and he starts vs Real Madrid. Great game I must say!

Yes i care man , but it’s been only 3 weeks man !
We have to try different formation against teams like Parma , asking for Allegri to be sacked it’s pure pure stupid!

We've been playing like shit for almost a year now. I really don't care about results only. It's not like they're mutually exclusive as Allegri says on his interviews.

Theyre the type of people to say “I’d rather we lose and play entertaining football than play like shit and win”...but would still meltdown hard and call for Allegris head if we lost playing entertaining football ::lol3::
And on the other hand you're saying the only way to win is to play ugly football.

The difference between me and you is I don't think our football is ugly.

I know it’s hypthetical but if our coach last year was Sarri and Allegri was coaching Napoli.
Sarri would have won the league easily and Allegri best finish would have ben top 4 or ADL would have sacked him by december.

Are you just saying that to win an argument, because i see a lot of posts back then when you said you don't care how we play as long as we win, I enjoy winning!
Nope. Winning is never truly ugly anyway. The only ugly thing is spoilt, dumb-fuck fans who expect us to play like peak-Barcelona and get the shits when we don't pump teams 6-0 every week.

Allegri has won actual titles before with two different clubs, something the 60 year old genius Sarri hasn't managed to do ONCE in his entire career. Keep making yourself look like a clueless, butt-hurt clown.

I dont think anyone is expecting us to play like peak Barcelona. But our games are ugly as fuck to watch. Napoli played beautiful football to be honest.

They played nice football and still got destroyed in the CL and EL, ran out of steam in April and won fuck all. So what was the point really?

I don't even think Napoli played that much beautiful football last season anyway. Just schematic football that Sarri loves, only one way to play, zero plan B and no rotation.

Before making such claims on Sarri you have to consider the facts that Juve is way superior team. Sarri deserves credit for reaching 91 points and almost winning the title. Napoli doesnt have the bench Juve have.

That very Sarri beat us in Turin and we didnt have a shot on goal.

Dude is a clueless retard. Sarri couldn't even get out of the group stage in CL. Got knocked out by Shaktar, got knocked out of Europa by RB Leipzig, and knocked out of Coppa by Atalanta. He literally shat the bed against vastly inferior sides in all 3 other competitions and still lost the scudetto by getting blown out by a terrible Fiorentina 3-0.

It’s like Allegri would have won CHL, Serie A, And coppa Italia with Napoli team. He would have probably finished 4th.

Barely started the new season, and the anti-Allegri squad already out for blood after our terrible 9 points start.
The 9 points argument is meaningless to critics of Allegri (like myself).

We have by far the best squad in Serie A, it’s not even close. Any decent manager would win the league with this team.

Ancelotti won the Bundesliga with Bayern, but they still sacked him, because the football they played was bad.

Our standards should be the same. Winning Serie A is not enough, any competent manager could win Serie A with our squad. We should aim to play like a dominant force.

Who was the last Juve manager you were satisfied with?

Lippi, by far the best Juve manager of my lifetime.

I also think that Allegri’s quote about how he was inspired by Lippi and Capello is a bit misleading. Lippi was nothing like Capello or Allegri. His style of football was much closer to Ferguson.
So you haven't been satisfied with Juventus in 15 years? Why are you still a "supporter"? Its just been 15 years of pain? Are you a masochist?

I was very satisfied with Juventus from 2011-2017.

The point is, I think that Allegri has hit a ceiling here. He’s running out of ideas and he doesn’t know how to improve the team any further. This doesn’t mean he’s a bad coach, it means we need a fresh start.

Back in 2013/14, you would be crucified for suggesting that we should replace Conte with Allegri, and yet it turned out to be a brilliant move for the club.

Our team is so good for serie a that it's not even fair so the 9 points argument is quite empty

Lets talk about football. We are struggling a lot in creation and attack, we have the GOAT and he's getting frustrated already cuz we don't play for him, we don't create anything for him

Our current tactic and formation doesn't suit our best player while is benching our second and third best players so...

You are on point in everything except one thing.

It's not Matuidi or Khedira, it's Matuidi all the way, two strong performances in a row involved in many ways while Khedira just walks around being "tactically perfect".

I dont now why I wrote Khedira I actually meant Can. Khedira’s role in this team should be reduced to picking up cones and balls after training by now.

Matuidi has been brilliant in the last two games, but in a two man mid I would like both CM to play as holding mids, and I think Can is better suited for that role.

Still hard to bench Matuidi in current form.
