Copa America is meh, chile is probably the 3rd/4th favourites going in anyway. This season his done poorer than his predecessor, his fourth but out of all cup competitions.

Copa America is meh, chile is probably the 3rd/4th favourites going in anyway. This season his done poorer than his predecessor, his fourth but out of all cup competitions.

he didnt win the Europa League, because he wasnt in it. not beating Leicester is a failure for sure, but finishing 4th in La Liga, while being close to the 1st place for more than half a season is god enough for a club like Siviglia

Exactly, the panel is by no means objective, and has no clear criteria. Don't get me wrong, I think Allegri is the current best coach if we're going with his performance this season (so far). Mourinho and Guardiola doesn't deserve to be in the top 10. However, if the ranking is based on the overall performance of active managers, I can understand why those two would be there, but why would Allegri be at the top? Why not say... Lippi?, he's still active.

Basically what I'm saying is, the ranking is BS, it's just a popularity contest.

Youve answered it yourself, not just a failiure but a pretty big one for them to lose against an off form leicester and like how is being second for half a season even an achievement, thats something Arsenal and Milan fans would probably boast about. Sevilla are expected to reach fourth and they are on course, he's somewhat meeting the expectations for whats its worth but that hardly something that should be commended

but if someone whos a Sevilla fan before the season got asked if a CL QF and 4th in La Liga would be a good season for them, im sure he would have agreed. and atleast hes meeting the expectations, unlike some others (Emery, pep, Mou, enrique). if the voting was for this season alone that is.

maybe there is someone more deserving to be there than him, but he deserves to be there ahead of the ones i mentioned imo
