i still can't believe but i love this guy. he's not only a modern coach with great vision and tactical arsenal (pun intended), he's a real character. and i was stupid enough to think that it was the end of the world when the club appointed him.

It's not like you rated Allegri before he came to Juve, now you want him to sign long term contract. We should all consider the superiority of Juve as an institution before dissing every coach that works in Serie A
Spot on. Max is love, but he has an established and well-oiled franchise behind him.

I didn't dislike him either; it was simply a matter of timing, and who he was coming in to replace. Conte is a club legend both as a player, and as a coach (during his tenure here), so it was quite difficult to stomach his departure. However, Allegri has proven all the skeptics - including myself - wrong. Nonetheless, I prefer continuity, and changing coaches every so often can destabilize the squad. I don't rate Spaletti, and he doesn't strike me as a coach with personality and character. Again, I could be wrong, but we have also made mistakes when hiring coaches in the recent past (Del Neri and Zacheronni come to mind), so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that our next coach could be a bust, and therefore I have every right to be skeptical.

I'd rather stick with Allegri, and if he were to leave (absolutely had to leave), I'd rather go with someone more proven and established, especially in Europe, like a Simeone or Ancelotti.

Deschamps reached a CL Final with Monaco, led us back to Serie A, won a ligue 1 title with Marseille, and came within a whisker of winning The Euros last summer, and he's only been coaching since the turn of the century. Spaletti won a couple of titles in Russia, a Coppa Italia, a Supercoppa, and almost, almost won a weakened Serie A in his glorious and storied career that has spanned over two decades! Go figure!

Capello won Serie A with Milan, Roma, Juve 7 times I think, won CL and reached the final another 2 times, won Primera with Real twice in 2 different mandates. Would I take him over Spalletti? Nope, but maybe you would. What I saw in the recent years from Deschamps and Spalletti tells me that Spalletti is the better coach and one id take at Juve before Didier

I wouldn't want Capello here either. He's stubborn and inflexible, and we have already tried the Capello experiment before, with disastrous consequences in Europe. I'd prefer Deschamps over Spaletti, but I'd rather go for someone different altogether.

don't get me wrong, I agree with you, much rather would have someone capable of seriously challenging for CL not a rookie in that competition, we are on the same page here. Spalletti just isn't the worst possible choice from the 2nd tier coaches, far from it. Deschamps is love, still sad that he didn't get a shot in Serie A

Thats not really a fair remark is it :D

Capello is finished since early 2000. Same can be said about Lippi.

Same seems to be able to be said about Mourinho
