He's right to some extent. Our players finished the season late and the preparations for the new season started too late. So it meant there was less time to get in good condition which still was very bad once the season started. So they decided to take some risks in order to get there faster.
and he's also guilty to some extent, and he knows it (see him saying "Next year we'll have to handle him better" about khedira)

you just can't find excuses for 60+ injuries.

It is widely believed that sporting director Beppe Marotta will finally sign a trequartista, but Allegri says it doesn't really matter.

“What we need is players of great quality,” he told the Press. “It doesn't matter what role they play in. Leave that to me, I'll find some way to arrange them in front of the defence.

“But calculated risks are necessary. I'd rather have 20 injured players and come first than no injuries and come second, third, fourth, fifth."

Allegri trolling the rest of Serie A. Roma and Napoli had very few injuries this year.

Not sure how intentional it was by Allegri but the back 3 setup from the game against Samp was really impressive, would be interesting to see next season if he might try it more often.

Braza has very underrated passing and as he gets older playing a more withdrawn role with less space to cover might allow him to stay WC for the next two seasons. With his reading of the game he can be a better sweeper then Bonnuci.

Moving Bonbon to the side at the same time allows him to be more involved in the possession game and utilizing his awesome passing from more advanced positions. Also his close dribble where he occasionally cancel an attacker pressing might turn into canceling a deeper midfielder more often and in turn opening more plays going foreword.

I really wish Allegri would give this setup a fair chance next season, it can have a dramatic effect on our possession and transition game

You know why he did it tho right? Its only because Bonucci is suspended for coppa next weekend. Bonucci is better in middle and Barza is better on the sides (more direct defensive duels). But we need alternative for when Bonucci isnt there so we arent forced to change to 4 man defence every time, and Barza did a decent job in this role for sure.

But its not better then the original set up.
