telnet eh. I see they aren't quite up to date in the latest and greatest :)

Aahh the sarcastic version
the geek in me finds a certain urge to point out that the linked java api docs on that page are version 1.2.2, whereas the current version is 1.5

I hardly expect this reply to evoke an "Oh crap, I totally didn't realise that at first glance; how embarassing " response from Erik :p

on the topic.

anybody would like to let me know how do i show a word document on one frame of a website.

did i phrase that correctly

ie http://zenit.senecac.on.ca:6327/examframes.html

if i wanna put the link on the blue part and show the .doc on the red part
File>Save as Web Page.

I've never used frames, but I think you can just tell one frame to be file.htm or whatever.

in the blue frame:

[a href="letterToGrandma.doc" target="communism"]Dear Grandma[/a]

and in your index page:

[frame src="http://zenit.senecac.on.ca:6327/red.html" name="communism"]

replace [] with html tags
