I remember I saw this guy a couple of times before he joined Barcelona.. I thinked he looked great.. Played LB then I think.

Then my friends supporting Real,Barca was both hoping they will get him.

I mean it's not easy to take a place in Barca.

And the thing I most like about this kid is that he can play as a wingback and CB.

Read that he can play RB and LB that would be amazing.. Lets give this kid a chance.. A loan deal would be a great deal
no Problem and i remember he played as LB for his country and he was good TBH i don't think he is bad at all and yea he is only 22 still can improve..

He is good i've followed him for a while, he's a quick cb, we need that, seeing as the only quick player in our defense is moli, IMO he would present a very useful signing, then I would call our mercato a dream one.

just a quick question, what what the reason he flopped at Barca, I remember that Yaya Touré was used as a CB whom is a CM and not him?

I don't belive he flopped, he just needed consistency and confidence put in him. Yaya's a beast of a player and I wouldn't heckle any manager for choosing to play him as a cb instead of him.

I haven't seen him play a full game with Barca so maybe the lack of playing time and confidence in him didn't help him. I remember he was linked with us when he played for Defensor Sporting. atm, the press are putting him ahead of Santacroce in a possible new Juve acquisition.

in other news, Howedes is also linked to us again.

He didn't really flop, he got injured and then the players around him got really good (Piqué) so he couldn't participate much.

Agreed on the confidence part written before.

He brought him to Juve I think.
It was another Fonseca i believe. Daniel Fonseca was still a Juve player when Trez joined Juve. Fonseca left later that summer but he continued playing football, he wasn't an agent yet.

It might be Omar Da Fonseca you're thinking about. He brought David to France.
True. It was him. An Argentina born ex-footballer who played his football in France (just like Trez) and later became an agent.

I think this is better than Santa's crotch, he is too similar to giorgio and that's not good, he's ill diciplined and we dont need these type of players as our squad already picks up enough cards, and no doubt we end up paying a lot for him too. On the other hand caceres is complimentary to giorgio and what tips him in my favour is we can secure a great deal for him from barca as they are looking to slim their squad so potentially he could come here on loan for next season with a relatively low buy option too. This is a win win situation for us as if he is good, we get a great coup,it can make up for the loss of criscito. If he is crap then we simply send him back, it cannot be more attractive then this from an economical view which our management will undoubtedly be looking at.

Wasn't Fonseca Trezeguet's agent when he first came to Juve?
Trez came in 2000, and Fonseca stopped playing for us 2000, no? How would he be his agent in that brief time from going from a player to someone is slowing down in his career?

Besides injuries, mainly confidence and nerves, It was evident he had the tools but he had very low confidence and playing very nervous the few times he got to play after the injury.

And FYI, he is a CB, even if he is quick, good on the ball for a CB, and versatile, he can do a decent job at the flanks, but he is a CB. Not the offensive option we need.

We do, and thats why we mainly want Caceres or Santacroce. But it feels like they are going after versatile CB so they can use him as RB too like they did with Mellberg, and thats worrying to me, we need capable RB more then ever, especially more offensive now that we need width.

Osman. Ciro said that we need one more CB.
Just bout to say that but you beat me to it, personally os, I would rather a rb or lb. But the versatility that comes with caceres presents him as a option which hits two birds with one stone if you will, ciro gets his cb and we get additional options for the flanks.
