Not really as I said id expect him to be decent enough not inch perfect so if Abidal is not an inch perfect passer then that doesnt mean Cacreres cant be at least be decent. The majority of Barcas players are excellent passers of course this doesnt mean that all there players will be excellent passers but thats why i only expect he can be at least decent. I know very little about Caceres so im only guessing ;)

and by the way Abidal may not be an inch perfect passer but imo he is a decent passer and is a better passer than Chiellini and molianro so if Caceres can pass as good as him it will be an improvement.

He doesn't have to.

If you haven't got yourself to Canada for a certain other someone, you ain't going to do it to get him. :p

I've seen a few game when he was in Argentina, a couple with Uruguay and some clips of him with Barca.

He looks good in the air, great anticipation, when he's off...he's off so he takes the players out and almost break their ankles. :p

He can play anywhere so that's a good thing. Uses both feet. Don't know about his crossing abilities though.(Don't remember)
I hope he plays some off games against Inter

I hope we land him before the Berlusconi Cup. :xfinger:

with 15 mil we will buy him out only if he is excellent and we see in him the future partner of chiellini...
If he does actually arrive he'll be used as a LB or a RB rather than a CB so he should prove himself at those positions IMO.

Considering what Barca paid, it's to be expected. If he has a great season and proves to be a quality player, €15m is a more affordable price than if he stayed at Barca, played a great season, and than we try to sign him.

The only problem I have is his loan fee. Hopefully it's reasonable. If it's €3m like Mark mentioned earlier, it's too much. In fact, if the option is really worth €15m, the loan fee should be no more than €1m, so Barca recoup what they paid for him. Barca slapping an €18m (loan fee + option to buy) price tag on him is ridicolous, since he did nothing during his time at Barca for his value to increase.
