Blanc " yes its true we are looking at the option of loaning him, he is young, strong and will complete our group"

we were never interested in Grosso he is 32, I then saw the Barcelona - Lyon game and I can say that I would rather keep De Ceglie and Molinaro for life

I think he is saying that we are not interested in investing in a 32 year old. That the situation was different with Cannavaro, a reference to his age perhaps...and that we are keeping hold of Moli and De Ceglie.

If Caceres was good enough to invite a fairly large investment by Barca a year ago. And he has not played enough for Barca to be labelled a complete flop, then getting him on loan, hopefully with the option to buy, would be perfect. it potentially solves our defensive problems in one swoop. As he will challenge Molinaro and De Ceglie, Zebina and Grygera...and also...he will provide another option in the middle to challenge Chiellini and Cannavaro, along with Legro, and Ariuado.

The signing makes a lot of sense. Chiellini will get suspensions. Zebina may well attack a cameraman and get a 9 month ban...Molinaro is...Molinaro, De Ceglie is not the finished product, Canna is old and unlikely to be able to play at his optimum for every game.

I hope we get him. And if he is wretched, we can send him home without losing much $$$$

I agree when it comes to DC..but when it comes to Molinaro i just believe he's not of Juve's potential..he's an average player with no sign of improvement..so Caceres would be a welcome addition.

You are the one who thinks our defence will consist of

Zebina - Grygera - Ariaudo - Salihamidzic at the same time Momo, Melo and Marchisio are not fielded.

It's not me, it's you who believe that we have defensive problems because of this line up.

If we're able to get him on loan, the price to buy him would probably be higher than 8m. If we wish to use the option he must have been playing well and Barca would want to recuperate much of what they spent for him.

Unless we set the buying price now. You know, loan deal with an option to buy for a previously set price.
