I heard a possible Matri - Marquinho swap. (maybe Marquinho + cash for Matri?)

Also heard Roma want 5M for Marquinho and offered the player to Inter and Juve.

I'm an Asamoah fan, I really like the player.

He just isn't a LWB.

He is doing great as LWB, who cares if he is a natural LWB or not.

And unless we can get someone like Coentrao, there's no chance some Roma bench player is going to bench him just because he is a LWB.

it will be sad to see players like lamela go... i think he could be an easy 50/60 million euro player in a few years time with the prices going to up with players... especially strikers.

Marquinho has never impressed me in the Serie A. I don't see how this is going to provide Asamoah with competition..

As much as I hate Lamela for all the shit he pulled against us in matches, I'd be disappointed to see him leave the Serie A too, he's a joy to watch (when he isn't playing us) and has a great future ahead of him.

@Red

What do you think?
I like him, but only when he's playing centrally.

He'd be an interesting option to take Giaccherini's spot - as a player who specialises in timing runs forward into the box from midfield, but can also cover several other positions if required.

There's no danger of him getting anywhere near being first choice in any position at Juve, but I could see him being a useful option now and again.

Alternatively, if you want a better version of Marquinho, you could just make an offer for Florenzi since Roma seem to be keen to get rid of as many of their good players as they can this summer...

This guy is a natural left-winger, he could also play in the centre. Would be a great replacement to Giaccherini IMO.

I can see him giving Asamoah some healthy competition, and wouldn't be surprised if he takes the starting spot.

Buffon
Storari
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Caceres Ogbonna Peluso
Lichtsteiner Vidal Pirlo Marchisio Asamoah
Pepe Padoin Marrone Pogba Marquinho
Vucinic Tevez
Llorente Giovinco

Would be sooo sweet.
that 2nd team midfield is very average besides Pogba. We should buy a good LWB and move Asamoah to CM. and/or Kondogbia :donedeal:
