mmmm, last season, when barca won the Champions Ligue and the Spanish Liga, Marquez was a starter 95% of the matches, he was superb then. Now, he has had a bad season but he is not awful, he's waaaaay better than any of our current CB's
Yeap i know.... i know that he play great also in WC but in this season ... he lack so much ... and im fan of italian defences.... like barzgali & i would like to see also Zacardo on our shirt

well.. Juve g2 make a quick and smart decision, Now Inter is interested in Marquez according to this...

Rafael Marquez happy at Barca

Rafael Marquez insists he does not want to leave Barcelona, despite reported interest in his services from Italy.
Gabriel Milito's arrival from Real Zaragoza was rumoured to signal the end for Marquez at Camp Nou but the defender is adamant he is happy to stay.
Marquez has admirers in Italy, however the Mexico international says he does not expect to leave Barcelona in the foreseeable future.
"I do not see myself outside of Barcelona," Marquez said at a press conference. "I am very happy in Barcelona.

"I do not see myself in any other shirt than Barcelona's."
Marquez faces stiff competition for a place in Barca's starting line-up next season, with Milito, Carles Puyol and Lilian Thuram also options for Frank Rijkaard at centre-back.
He added: "Now I have a little more competition. It is going to be more difficult, with so many players, so many stars."

Marquez is a born leader, who would help in either midfield or defence. Shame there is zero chance of getting him.
