Love that he can casually wish death & destruction upon all posters here living in the west, but not rating a football player is what gets him really into trouble :baus:
It could be because those people calling for the ban, secretly support the same death & destruction

At one time he was a monster at Bayern maybe one of the best strikers in the world at one stage if i remember correctly. Then they replaced him with an even better striker.

messi can play right winger, cf, ss, and he's the archetype of false 9. ronaldo is a natural player on the left wing, but he's class as a right winger and a cf, too. prime vidal could play as a cb or a tq, he plays as a dm at bayern, and he's a natural b2b midfielder. del piero played as a cf and as an ss throughout his career, and he excelled at both positions. matthaus had also at least 3 positions (am, dm, sweeper/cd) and he was excellent in all of them. versatility is an existing thing among classy players, and versatile players aren't necessarily padoins.

as a pure winger, mandzukic is meh. to begin with, he's not fast enough to be a top class conventional winger. but allegri deserves all credit for mandzukic's latest 5-6 months: the guy defends like crazy (have you seen our matches against barcelona? imagine ribery doing mandzukic's work for 180 minutes...), holds the ball, his positioning, anticipation and tactical intelligence is surprisingly mature, it's safe to say that he's among our most important players at the moment. if we happen to win the cl this season, allegri's mandzukic will surely become textbook material as the first b2b defensive winger.
This. Barcelona game was just the best game to see Allegri's wonderful work. I couldnt stop laughing at how Messi were being bullied by AS and Mandzu

This is our secret weapon in the Champions League. Defensively he has a sort of an free-defending-role. He makes the gaps smaller when necessary, he fix double coverage when it's needed. His aerial ability is insane by setpieces. He running the shit out of himself to help defend and when we counter he is the first one steaming forward.

Offensively he also brings more than people think. With all the focus on Higuain and Dybala, Mandzukic is forgotten by the opposition. He has a lot of space mostly, he is always accessible (because which rightback can win some headers from Mandzukic??) and he is also an extra weapon with Cuadrado crossing where Higuain come first post and Mandzukic second.

His backheels are one of my favourite 'highlights' of him btw. Most of time useful and unpredictable and as bonus fancy for a player like him.

We're lucky to have two attackers like Cuadrado and Mandzukic who understand the defensive and tactical side of the game as well as they do.
:agree: you can tell from Allegri's interviews that he really appreciates Mandzukic's tactical intelligence and somewhat underrated technique too. Always raves about him, it's like his (much upgraded version) of Pepe :D
