Instead of getting a penalty, he gets a yellow card and he's supposed to take it without saying a word. That ref $#@!ed up big time. Also, how did VAR not get used there? Ridiculous.
Exactly. I mean listen to the announcers not really knowing what to make of it after seeing the replay. Plus see how Ali A initiates the shit by getting in Mario's face. Perfect situation for VAR!

Overall, his pugnacious spirit is what sets him apart from other players. Certain strikers in particular spend their time shouting at teammates when passes don't come their way. Euromax definitely appreciates this character trait of Mandzukic even tho it backfires occasionally. Love or hate it - but this is the package Juventus get with Mario Mandzukic and it has worked out great so far. On top of everything he is a big game player which is another attribute not all our strikers share. Times after times he has been scoring in CL finals for his various clubs. Greatly appreciated at every single station of his career, under numerous coaches for his one of a kind consistency. A legendary player to be mentioned in Juventus allstar teams for decades to come. You are you going to take sides with some impotent little fag referee?

Of course this behavior is part of his personality, and reflective of his grinta on the pitch. Rememer he slapped that little midget bitch Messi? He choked Lewa?

Hell, Licht is even worse at complaining with that ratatat mouth of his. The ref was just too trigger-happy with his cards...

It's the kind of shit refs do all the time, little altercation and give both players a card even if one does absolutely nothing. It's one of those things in football that pisses me off the most, it's poor and lazy officiating.
Would never get his first yellow in a incident he was involved in Premier League.

I like Mario.

He seems like a loyal O.G that would defend his best friend in a life or death situation. He has temper. He has grinta. He scores important goals. He runs like a madman all game. Sometimes Mario gets angry, when being treated unfairly. He does not take any S#it and will call it out.

is he not allowed to make a mistake once in a while?

Future hall of famer for me, his temper is what makes him great! .

Now people side with the ref because they disapprove Mario's retarded behavior :baus:

TUZ LOGIC 100%
he overreacted. Simple as that. Players need to learn how to move past bad calls. When in history has a ref ever changed a card after showing one?
