Mario needs either major injuries to teammates and a lot of luck or for Pep to leave. That seems like his only real future there.

I know he loves Bayern and grew up supporting them as a kid, but with Euro 2016 around the corner, why would he and Bayern not expect a loan + obligation to buy for 35 million with a buyback option fixed @ 50 million in 2 years. The kid must be pretty dense, or waiting for the moneybags in the EPL to make an offer.

A loan + obligation with a buyback clause is a win-win-win. Gotze gets playing time, we get a quality AM for a couple of years at least, and Pep gets rid of a guy he hardly has any use for.

Exactly. I think this deal could very well be happening. Whether or not Götze is a good bet is something else though. He has the potential for sure, but he has had a very underwhelming career (despite the obvious highlight that was the WC final).

He was excellent for Dortmund. I would argue he was more influential and important for them than Reus during their amazing run to the CL final in 2013. I just feel he needs a new environment where he has a bigger role to play.

That's not happening. We're really the only ones who want him as of now
What do your sources say about this deal? :D

You remind me of Spence in Ballers with the inside info :p

He was, but he was so young. His career had just started. In the meantime you'd have expected him to make the next step at Bayern.

But those clubs are unlikely to pay him that much more imo and they are so unstable it will be very difficult for him to play well.
I don't think he quite see's it that way otherwise he would be more or less ours by now and not ask time to think about moving to Juve because to any neutral he would be far more appreciated at Juve right now

I think what's holding him back is the fact that it's Italy.
