They buyback doesn't really make sense for Gotze, it makes sense for a youth product because you got him for free in the first place. Just seems odd that you would buy the same player for 40ml twice, even if you make back 30.
It makes sense in the way that he does not want to play under pep and would like to play for Bayern. Maybe in two years the cunt would have left the club then Mario would like to go back.

There is also a rumour that Gotze wants 7.5 in severance pay.

Sure if they want it that way we can do something like 30M and if they want him back they need to pay 60M after 2 years...
:howler: good luck with that.

you know what's piss me off with that kind of deals more than anything else, the fact that clubs like Madrid and Bayern (if that report is true) are dealing with us as if we're a feeding club.

We buy their players, groome them well and when the time is right and their players are more mature they'll get them back !

Seriously that's what we are doing with clubs like Sassuolo. Marotta should realize we're fucking Juve he's not at Sampdoria .

We make a big sale ON A DISCOUNT and we get a player on a buyback clause ? Seriously , how annoying would that be even though I would be resigned to accepting it.
And to be frank, he's been dogshite for Bayern in his stint there so we betting on his talent and the fact that we rejuvenate players who have been flops at their previous club.

If Bayern is serious with that 'recompra' the we definitely should back off. I'd rather see us overpay and get a player we believe in instead of this shit.

We did this with Morata, fine. Repeating this all over again won't serve us well. It'll make us look pretty bad, that's not the way to the top.

I'm buying that "2 year loan with obligatory right to buy, countered by a right to buy back".

That's so crazy and illogical that only Beppe can come up with it.

I see what you did there.

Anyways, I also don't like the buyback thing, but I'm fine with it as long as the buyback price is set high.

Ok so I'm awake now.

In bed. Without my contact lenses in, so my phone is about 6 inches from my face.

Wife is sleeping.

What is the latest

Bayern gave as a yes and we're free to talk to Gotze. We'll offer him 6m eur a year apparently.

No mention of transfer fees, but two options are mentioned: 1. We buy Gotze and Bayern has a buyback clause that can be activated in 2-3 years; 2. We get Gotze on 2 year loan. After that we have an obligation to buy him, but Bayern gets the right to buy him back from us (immediately, if I understood correctly).

50m won't get you the same level of quality in a few years time.
We keep thinking it's going to be fine and our future will be based around them but fact is all of 'em will be gone in two years. The Morata's, the Pogba's and the Götze's if we get him.
Better bet on some other talent who will atleast guarantee us huge money in the future with his sale.
Ofcourse I would love Götze here but I'm having second thoughts over this with the reported buyback clause on the agenda.
Get me Draxler and Sandro with no shitty clauses and I'd be down with that.

20 years from now history will hail him as the man who changed transfer dealings forever. He's way ahead of his time.

Morata won't be gone because Real will forever be buying top star strikers. Morata won't join them for the bench. Bench is why he left them
Götze won't be gone as long as Pep is coach.

Pep will be Bayern coach for another year at best.
You're deluding yourself if you think he'll stay there long term.
I'm not sure about Morata either.

All thought Vidal will stay here long term but look what happened.

Thanks buddy.

I guess it all depends on how much the buyback clause is.

Oh who am I kidding. I want him here in the worst way that I don't even care how it happens. Buyback, loan, a cardboard cutout to throw in the middle of the pitch. I dont care.

I'm past the point of being reasoned with on this. I'm at the point where I feel like that Man U fan who was obsessed with Vidal. My computer for work has three screens that are supposed to be for work.

Yeah right. One of them now has the image of this thread burned onto the screen. This has to happen, or I'm going to have a meltdown. I didn't even feel this way about Jojo, and I drove a lot of people nuts back in the day
